Abstract

Natural resources are the main component in building a biological culture system in the span of the earth. Efforts to manage natural resources, especially plants, are characterized by utilization according to their characteristics. The Arecaceae family (palm) belongs to the plant family of the oldest among flowering plants. This research was conducted through an exploratory survey on plants of the Arecaceae family in the area of Campus 1, Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University, Bandung. There were nine plant species found with a total number of individuals of all species totaling 148. The diversity index of palm plants in the Campus I area of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung obtained a result of 1.59. The utilization of Arecaceae plants is very diverse for each organ, namely fruits, roots, flowers, leaves, roots, and stems which are divided into five categories of needs, food sources, traditional medicines, building materials, handicrafts, and other uses.

Abstract

Plants living in extreme environments have developed significant adaptations in their reproductive organs to survive and reproduce. These adaptations include structural and functional changes in reproductive organs to overcome harsh environmental challenges such as drought, extreme temperatures, and infertile soil conditions. Examples of these adaptations include cacti with spiny stems and drought-resistant flowers, Arctic willows with their fast flowering times, and pine trees with their vigorous growth and efficient pollen cones. This research explores the mechanisms of plant adaptation in extreme environments, discusses the implications for plant survival and reproduction, and identifies structural and functional changes in reproductive organs in response to environmental stress.

Abstract

This reseach purpose is to (isi abstract menyesuaikan abstrak) This research aims to evaluate the implementation of Revenue Recognition based on PSAK 34 in Construction Company Y, focusing on road preservation projects. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involves the analysis of the utilization of the completed contract method compared to the percentage of completion method by the company. Data were gathered through interviews and documentation. In road preservation projects, the application of the completed contract method is seen as consistent with PSAK 34. However, the findings reflect that the company has not fully complied with PSAK 34 since the same method has been utilized for long-term projects, despite the standard mandating the use of the percentage of completion method for such projects. Research recommendations emphasize the need to transition from the completed contract method to the percentage of completion method for long-term projects to ensure complete consistency to PSAK 34 standards and alignment with the diverse project characteristics.
