Abstract

In today's human civilization, all aspects of life cannot be separated from organization, because by nature humans are social creatures who tend to always live in society. This is seen well in household life, social organizations, especially when someone enters the world of work. This person will interact and become part of the organization where he works. This research aims to determine the relationship between leadership style and employee performance, work environment, work communication, and employee job satisfaction at the Dahlia Community Health Center, Makassar City. The type of research used is the Observation method with a Cross Sectional Study design. The sampling technique in this research is Exchautive Sampling Technique (total sample). Data analysis using the chi square test. The research results show that there is a relationship between employee performance and leadership style. There is a relationship between the work environment and leadership style. There is no relationship between communication and leadership style. There is a relationship between job satisfaction and leadership style. The conclusion of this research is that employee performance, work environment, and job satisfaction are related to leadership style, while work communication is not related to leadership style.

Abstract

Lifestyle is an important factor that influences people's lives. This research method uses descriptive analytics with a cross sectional approach. The total population in this study was all patients who experienced hypertension at the Haji Makassar Regional General Hospital, totaling 316 people. In this research, the sample used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study was 47 patients who experienced hypertension at the Haji Makassar Regional General Hospital. The instruments used in this research were questionnaires and observations. The research results obtained a value of ρ=0.008<0.05, this means that there is a relationship between diet and hypertension in inpatients at the Haji Makassar District Hospital. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the value ρ=0.003<0.05 means that there is a relationship between smoking and hypertension in inpatients at the Haji Makassar Regional Hospital. This research is used as input for health workers who carry out their duties in providing nursing care, especially in cases of hypertension.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze factor analysis that associated to Fadliyah P2MK 16.02.04.026. Factor analysis associated to ICU nurses’s performance at LabuangBaji Hospital in Makassar. This research is under observation without taking interventionwith descriptive observational studiesand carry out observations with cross sectional. The sample of the study was the emergency room nurse in LabuangBajiHospital in Makassaramounted to 35 persons. Data collection was done by questionnaire and interview. As for data analysis technique is chi square test and hypothesis test used is simple regency analysis. Sampling technique was in total sampling. The result showed that education, motivation and years of service had a positive and significant influence with the performance of nurses and the effect was in the good category indicated by logistic regression equation. So, it is suggested that the need for education, motivation and years of service in an effort to improve the performance of nurses, it is hoped to improve the ability through formal and informal education and training as well as conducting comparative satudies (benchmarking).

Abstract

The hospital is a health service agency that focuses on the quality of services provided. Satisfaction is one indicator of the quality of care that nurses provide and become the capital to get patient satisfaction, and maintain loyalty in using services. This study aims to analyze nurses 'perceptions of the quality of care for nurse job satisfaction at Polewali Mandar Regional General Hospital. It is used as an analytic observational study with a cross sectional study design. The populationsare 117 nurses in Polewali Mandar Hospital, with 53 samples. Data are analyzed by univariate, bivariate with the chisquareanalysistest, and multivariate with logistic regression analysis test.The results showed that there was an effect of direct evidence on nurses' perceptions about service quality on nurse job satisfaction with a value of p = 0,038 (p<0.05). There were an influence of reliability on nurses' perceptions about service quality on nurse job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.019 (p<0.05). There were an effect of responsiveness to nurses' perceptions of service quality about nurse job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.018 (p<0.05). There were a guarantee effect on nurses' perceptions of service quality on nurse job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.039 (p<0.05). There were an influence of empathy on nurses' perceptions about service quality on nurse job satisfaction with a value of p = 0.036 (p <0.05). The most influential variable on nurse job satisfaction weretangible with a value of p = 0,024 (p<0,025).The conclusions of this study are direct evidence,reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy affect to nurse job satisfaction. It is recommended that hospital management must give attention and improve nurse job satisfaction because it is one indicator of the quality of health services.

Abstract

Background: Overweight and obesity are accumulations of excess fat (globally, regionally, and in organs as ectopic lipids) increasing the risk of health impacts. In Indonesia, childhood obesity has a high prevalence rate. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The number of children aged 5-12 years experiencing overweight problems is 18.8% which consists of the category of fat 10.8% and obesity by 8.8%. Methods: This study is a research with intervention, quasi-experimental research design, to distinguish high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels before and after receiving treatment in two groups, namely the control group (the group that did not receive treatment), and the intervention group (the group that performed aerobic exercise). Result: With dietary and aerobic interventions for 4 weeks, no statistically significant differences were found, although the mean hsCRP levels of the subjects decreased from 2.8 to 2.2 mg/l. The results of non-parametric statistical tests with man whitney test obtained (?> 0.05), namely (? = 0.346) indicating that there is no significant effect between aerobic exercise on hsCRP levels in the treatment group and control group with a value of (? = 0.24) before and after aerobic exercise. Conclution: Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that aerobic exercise can provide sufficient changes to reduce hsCRP levels in obese significantly, although the results of statistical analysis do not provide significant changes. Food recall does not have an impact on sufficient change, but if control and dietary interventions are applied it will provide significant changes, this can be seen in the results of different calorie consumption levels.

Abstract

One of the main factors affecting health performance is their motivation in working. Motivation is a factor that encouragwes a person to perform a certain activity that leads to the achievement of a particular goal. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between motivation with the performance of health personnel at Puskesmas Ridge Biak Numfor District. This research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional study method population number 55 people. Sample is 55 with purposive sampling tecniue. Data collection and processing using computer program SPSS version 16,0 by using fisher’s exact test. The reault of this research is the reward p=0,038<0,005,it show there is no relation between reward with performance of health worker, kia peer relations p=0,004.<0,005 it there is a relationsip between the co-worker relationship with Perfoemance of health worker, enviromental condition of p=o,ooo<o,oo5it there is reltion between work environment condition with health worker performance. Conclusion in this research is there is there is relation between reward an c0-worker and condition of work environment with performance of health worker. It is suggested to the Ridge Comunity Health Center to furher improve the relationships of good colleagues and increase health facilities and infratructure in providing services so that health workers can improve their performance.
