Abstract

Government policy changes and drug price fluctuations related to e-catalog can affect drug costs and types purchased between 2022 and 2023. This research aimed to analyze the differences in drug procurement using the e-catalog system and its interaction with hospital financial and operational variables. The study employed a mixed-methods approach to understand the dynamics of drug procurement at Pharmacy Department of X Hospital through the e-catalog system between 2022 and 2023. This research evaluated changes in purchasing volume, costs, cost efficiency, and service speed. Quantitative data were obtained from e-catalog documentation, focusing on the types, volumes, and prices of chronic medications, as well as BPJS claims. Statistical analysis was used to compare the study periods, while qualitative data from in-depth interviews with 15 respondents, observations and document analysis enriched the understanding of procurement process changes through data triangulation analysis. The results demonstrated an increased use of e-catalog, with policy changes leading to supplier diversification and price flexibility. Quantitative findings indicated a 25% increase in the volume of drug purchases through the e-catalog from 2022 to 2023, accompanied by a 15% reduction in average drug prices due to heightened competition among suppliers. Additionally, procurement efficiency improved by 30%, as reflected in the reduction of the procurement cycle time from 45 days to 31 days. These findings indicated shifting needs and procurement strategies, affecting budget efficiency and the speed of fulfilling drug requirements. In conclusion, strategic adaptations and ongoing evaluations in managing e-catalog are essential to address financial and logistical challenges, ensuring patient satisfaction and drug availability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sufficiency of essential amino acid protein, BCAA (Branched-chain Amino Acids), may modulate muscle fatigue among endurance athletes. Indonesia poses an abundance of local food that can be developed as a good yet low-cost BCAA-food sources such as peace, winged beans, and soybeans. This study aimed to develop BCAA-snack bar food and describe its’s nutritional and sensory properties. This experimental study compared a ratio of Capri, winged, and soy flour, respectively into Formula 1 (F1) (25:25:25), F2 (25:10:40), F3 (10:40:25), and F4 (40:25:10). Sensory analysis was carried out by 25 trained panelists using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) while nutritional analysis (proximate analysis and Branched-chain Amino Acid (BCAA)) was performed in an accredited laboratory. One Way ANOVA and Bonferroni post hoc was used to find a difference between formulas. Formula 4 had the highest acceptance and contained, in percent, 18.57 protein, 40.09 carbohydrates, 9.81 fat, 1.67 ash, 23.3 moisture, and 4.06 crude fibers. The F4 also contained, in percent, 1.54 leucine, 0.88 isoleucine, 0,95 valine. There was a significant difference for each proximate and BCAA content across formulas while only aroma parameter that did not differ for both hedonic and hedonic quality aspects between formulas ABSTRAK Kecukupan protein asam amino esensial, BCAA (Branched-chain Amino Acids), dapat memodulasi kelelahan otot pada atlet endurance. This study aims to analyze the effect of price perception and patient experience on word of mouth with integrity as an intervening variable in patients at Lanud Manuhua Biak Hospital. The study used a quantitative causality design that analyzed the causal influence along with descriptive analysis using the threebox method. Respondents consisted of 200 hospital patients. The sampling method used purposive sampling. The data analysis method used PLS SEM. The results of the study found that there was a simultaneous effect of price perception and patient experience on word of mouth through integrity mediation. Price perception has a positive effect on word of mouth. Patient experience has a positive effect on word of mouth. Price perception has a positive effect on integrity. Patient experience has a positive effect on integrity. Integrity has a positive effect on word of mouth. Hospitals are expected to improve the quality of services provided in accordance with the prices that have been set, such as adding chairs, providing information about doctors' delays, simplifying the bureaucratic service process, training doctors to be more willing to listen to patients and sincerely serve their patients, shortening waiting hours, adding facilities in the waiting room.
