Abstract

Abah Anom, a prominent Sufi figure in Indonesia, is acknowledged as the spiritual leader (murshid) of the Qadiriyyah wa Naqsabandiyyah order (TQN). His teachings primarily revolve around the practice of "zikir" but also encompass broader aspects. This is evident in the pre-zikir prayer: "ilaahī anta maqṣūdī wa riḍāka maṭlūbī a’ṭinī maḥabbataka wa ma’rifataka" emphasizing the significance of "mahabbah" or love as a central theme consistently integrated into every aspect of his Sufi practice. What were Mahabbah's perceptions of Abah Anom's Sufi teachings? To what extent was this "mahabbah" expressed? How does "mahabbah" correlate with "zikir"? Using library research and a qualitative approach, the study involved descriptive analysis, focusing on various dimensions of Mahabbah, including love for humanity, wealth, position, and, importantly, love for Allah. Abah Anom expounded clearly on the relationship between "mahabbah" and "zikir," often using simple analogies to illustrate their correlation. In summary, Abah Anom extensively discussed the concept of "mahabbah" within his Sufi teachings, integrating it as a prominent theme through interjections and comprehensive discussions. He also elucidated the interconnection between "mahabbah" and "zikir" frequently using straightforward analogies to underscore their correlation.

Abstract

The assumption that a tariqa group opposes worldly attainment and power is incorrect; their engagement in practical politics stems from a moral duty to uphold the state’s unity and integrity. This article delves into the political communication established by a Sufi figure, Abah Anom, aiming to reinforce the teachings of the tariqa and its relevance to religion and the state. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, this research obtained data from various documents such as lecture texts, announcements, and photographs. The findings reveal two strategies employed by Abah Anom to reinforce the relations between religion and the state. First, a focus on spiritual growth, emphasizing practice and religious knowledge as guiding principles. Second, the maintenance of relations with state leaders, fostering legitimacy as responsible citizens. This study concludes that the relations between religion and the state that constitute part of the teachings of the Qodiriyah Naqsabandiyah tariqa (TQN)serve as a means to advocate and position itself within Muslim communities and government, aligning with both religion and state objectives. Furthermore, it suggests that the roles of the kyai extend beyond a broker of culture; the kyai also plays the role of a broker of politics to preserve harmony among religious groups and uphold the state’s unity and integrity.

Abstract

Pengajian merupakan sebuah kelompok atau jamaah yang memiliki keinginan untuk menambah pengetahuan agama, melalui pendidikan non formal dengan berbagai kegiatan atau aktifitas yang diselenggarakan oleh sekelompok orang sebagai bentuk p3mbangunan nilai agama. P3ngajian juga, dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual seseorang yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti: meningkatkan intensitas untuk selalu beribadah kepada Allah SWT; meningkatkan rasa syukur dan lebih sahar ketika menghadapi cobaan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini diantaranya untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan spiritual remaja muslimah sebelum dan sesudah diberi penerapan kegiatan Pengajian Online serta pengaruh penerapan kegiatan Pengajian Online dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual remaja muslimah di Dusun. Cibonteng Desa. Tanjungmulya Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan jenis Pre-Experimental Design (One-Group Pretest-Posttest design) dimana penelitian eksperimen ini dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja yang dipilih secara random tanpa ada kelompok pembanding untuk kemudian diberikan tes awal atau pre-test sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan diberi tes akhir atau post-test setelah perlakuan, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan spiritual remaja muslimah sebelum diberikan perlakuan berada pada kategori rendah dengan mendapat nilai rata-rata 59,3 dan setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata menjadi 66,6 dan termasuk pada kategori tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kegiatan Pengajian Online dapat meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual remaja muslimah.
