Abstract

In daily activities, there is a phenomenon that is the opinion of the general public that people who wear black feel hotter than people who wear other colors. A bulb is an artificial light source that results from channeling an electric current through a filament which then heats up and produces light. This research aims to measure the heat radiation value of different colored bulbs. The method of this research is that several bulbs of different colors are measured for heat radiation at varying times of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes and 30 minutes. The research results show that black has the largest temperature changes, and transparent colors have the smallest temperature changes compared to other colors. Dominantly dark colors are better conductors of heat.

Abstract

Gelombang elektromagnetik merupakan gelombang yang terdiri dari medan listrik dan medan magnet. Ketika terdapat aliran arus listrik, maka setiap peralatan elektronik dapat menimbulkan medan magnet. Medan magnet ELF memiliki frekuensi 0-300 Hz. Medan magnet ELF tidak terhalangi, sehingga dapat muncul di mana pun pada aliran listrik. Tradisi tumbilotohe merupakan adat istiadat atau kebiasaan pasang lampu tepatnya malam tanggal 27 Ramadhan di Provinsi Gorontalo. Banyak warga masyarakat yang memakai bohlam dalam melaksanakan tradisi tersebut. Maka penelitian ini melakukan pengukuran radiasi medan elektromagnetik ELF pada bohlam yang berbeda warna sebagai informasi ilmiah yang dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan 4 bohlam yang berbeda warna, kemudian diukur nilai radiasi medan elektromagnetik ELF menggunakan EMF tester, selama 5 menit, 10 menit, 15 menit, 20 menit, 25 menit, dan 30 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai radiasi medan elektromagnetik ELF tertinggi terdapat di bohlam yang berwarna hitam sebesar 0,3 µT, sedangkan nilai radiasi medan elektromagnetik ELF terendah terdapat di bohlam yang berwarna transparan sebesar 0 µT. Pengukuran radiasi medan elektromagnetik ELF pada bohlam yang berbeda warna berada dalam ambang batas aman berdasarkan regulasi ICNIRP dan WHO, sehingga penggunaan bohlam tersebut aman untuk digunakan di tradisi tumbilotohe.

Abstract

Instalasi radiologi merupakan unit pemeriksaan penunjang dalam bidang kedokteran, yang melayani pelayanan diagnosa, perawatan atau rencana perawatan dan evaluasi atau kontrol. Instalasi radiologi memanfaatkan radiasi pengion dan non pengion. Akan tetapi, radiasi yang digunakan juga dapat memberikan efek yang harus diwaspadai dan diperhatikan. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang Sosialisasi Manfaat dan Bahaya Radiasi pada Pemeriksaan Radiologi terhadap Masyarakat di Perumahan Griya Dulomo Indah II Gorontalo. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi secara door to door. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, terjadi peningkatan sekitar 42% terhadap pengetahuan tentang manfaat dan bahaya radiasi pada pemeriksaan radiologi.

Abstract

In 2023, there will be 141.60 tons of waste produced every day, both by households, offices, markets, commerce, public facilities and areas in Gorontalo City, and around 35% is plastic waste. The production of plastic waste in Gorontalo City is in first place. If this is allowed to continue, it will cause environmental pollution. This is because plastic waste is a type of solid waste that is difficult to decompose in a short time, which takes around 50-100 years to decompose into soil. Based on these problems, efforts need to be made to empower the community through making Ecobricks as a solution for healthy living with knowledge, faith, immunity and safety. This aims to preserve the environment, increase health independence, prevent disease and/or disasters, and increase people's income through Ecobrick products. The stages in this activity include coordination with partners, namely the Az-Zahra Mosque Ta'mirul Agency group, Pre Test, socialization regarding plastic waste, its impact on the environment and health, both in terms of science and religion, introducing the Ecobrick method as a environmentally friendly alternative plastic waste management, training in making Ecobricks, Post Test, monitoring and finishing of Ecobrick products. The results obtained from this activity include an increase in partner knowledge of around 20%, 72 Ecobrick bottles have been produced with a total of 14,309 grams of plastic waste, partner satisfaction is at 3.6 on a scale of 4, and 1 table, 4 chairs have been produced (can also be used as a table), and 1 shelf.
