Abstract

The high volume of heavy vehicle traffic on Kalianak Street, Greges, Tambak Langon, Tambak Osowilangun and Romokalisari causes the roads to become increasingly congested, which causes frequent traffic accidents. Accident data used for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 to determine accident-prone areas using the z-score method, the number of accidents for each level of victim severity using the Accident Rate method and to determine the amount of loss caused by accidents using the Gross method Output (Human Capital). The results of the analysis show that the highest number of accidents was in 2017 - 2016 for the classification of deaths, serious injuries and minor injuries on Romokalisari Street with an accident rate of 0.246 people per 1 million vehicle kilometers per year, the classification of seriously injured victims was 0.092 people per 1 million vehicle kilometers per year in Kalianak and minor injury victims of 0.406 people per 1 million vehicle kilometers per year on Romokalisari Street. The accident-prone area (Blacksite) with the largest value is the Tambak Osowilangun Z-Score for 6 years of 1.45 and the last year of 1.14. Total costs for accident victims based on the Gross Output (Human Capital) method for each year; 2017 amounting to IDR 12,529,506.23, in 2015 IDR 11,439,656,822, in 2019 IDR. 13,324,550,588, 2020 Rp. 11,010,983,853, in 2021 Rp. 19,071,950,542 and in 2022 Rp. 26,214,460,693. Abstract

Lalu lintas Jalan Panjang Jiwo Permai pada sebelum adanya pembangunan rumah sakit cukup padat karena hambatan dari mobil yang mengarah ke parkiran Universitas Ubaya, hambatan tersebut akan terus bertambah karena jalan tersebut merupakan kawasan komersial. Pada kawasan komersial jalan tersebut terdapat banyak ruko pertokoan dan sekolah-sekolah di sekitar jalan yang membuat hambatan besar pada jam masuk sekolah atau kerja dan pada jam pulang. Pembangunan Rumah Sakit Ubaya menambah hambatan lalu lintas di jalan karena banyak truk bahan bangunan akan sering melintasi jalan tersebut. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis evaluasi kinerja ruas jalan akibat pembangunan tersebut untuk menentukan nilai kecepatan terhadap kenyamanan pengguna jalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode MKJI 1997 sebagai dasar analisis perhitungan evaluasi jalan dan peraturan yang digunakan sebagai dasar penentuan LOS adalah Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Nomor 96 Tahun 2015. Dalam analisis peneliti mendapatkan komponen-komponen perhitungan dengan melakukan survei di lapangan secara langsung pada hari kerja dan hari libur. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah pada masa sebelum pembangunan pengguna jalan menggunakan kecepatan 48 km/jam, kemudian saat pembangunan terjadi penurunan kecepatan 43 km/jam oleh  pengguna jalan yang menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan pengguna jalan dan kualitas waktu pekerja berkurang karena hambatan lalu lintas.

Abstract

Transportasi di Wilayah Jawa Timur mengalami pertumbuhan yang sangat pesat khususnya pada kota Surabaya dan Lamongan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan banyaknya moda transportasi yang disediakan seperti Bus Ekonomi PO. Dali Mas dan Kereta Api Commuter Line Arjonegoro, Oleh karena itu, maka perlu dilakukan analisis terhadap pemilihan moda transportasi antara Bus Ekonomi PO. Dali Mas dan Kereta Api Commuter Line Arjonegoro Rute Surabaya-Lamongan sehingga dapat diketahui karakteristik pengguna, kriteria prioritas yang menjadi pertimbangan pengguna dan prioritas moda yang digunakan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam mendukung keputusan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP). Berdasarkan penyebaran kuisioner yang dilakukan peneliti, pengguna moda transportasi Rute Surabaya-Lamongan didominasi oleh Laki-laki (62%) dengan usia rata-rata 20-40 tahun (70%) yang berlatar belakang pendidikan SMA (35%) dengan pekerjaan didominasi oleh wiraswasta (54%) dan berpendapatan rata-rata sebesar Rp 2.000.000-Rp 3.000.000 (39%). Berdasarkan perhitungan dan analisis yang dilakukan menggunakan metode AHP, faktor prioritas yang menjadi pertimbangan pengguna dalam memilih moda transportasi Rute Surabaya-Lamongan adalah faktor biaya (23,4%), diikuti dengan faktor keamanan (21,9%), faktor kenyamanan (20%), faktor kemudahan (18,8%), faktor headway (8%) dan faktor waktu tempuh (7,8%). Sedangkan moda prioritas yang digunakan adalah Kereta Api Commuter Line Arjonegoro (63,1%) diikuti dengan Bus Ekonomi PO. Dali Mas (36,9%).

Abstract

Baturono – Lamongan road is a distrit road that connects the districs of Sukodadi, Made, Lamongan. The road is an alternative road which is the main accesss so that there is a large volume of vehicles passing throught the road. Therefore, resulting in road damage that can interfere with user comfort and safety. This research to determine the type of road handling in accordance with the condition of the road damage. This esearch was carried out by means of primary data surveys in the form of LHR and road damage surveys. The methods used are Bina Marga 1990, Surface Distress Index (SDI), and PKRMS Software. On the Baturono road section ound the types of damage holes, pathces, transverse cracks, longitudinal, ruts, and alligator cracks. By using the Bina Marga method the priority order value is 10 including type of routine maintenance. The SDI methode yielded 37,85 < 50 so that is included of routine maintenance. Meanwhile, software PKRMS output software obtained good results which included routine maintenance. The handling carried out refers to the practical manual of routine maintenance in the form of filling cracks, spreading sand, and closing crack.

Abstract

Highways are one of the means of land transportation needed by the community, so it is imperative to plan an effective pavement design (Panji, 2021). Apart from that, roads are also a means of land transportation that is very much needed by the community, so that roadworthiness is an important factor in providing a sense of security and comfort in driving. The higher increase in traffic must be balanced with the availability of quality infrastructure, Risdiyanto (2014). The increase in the number of vehicles crossing the road has a major impact on road damage, if regular maintenance is not carried out. Therefore, supervision of improving the quality of road infrastructure is very necessary, considering the number of vehicles that pass through these roads greatly affects the quality of the road itself Wadungasri Road is a collector road that is used as infrastructure for the activities of the Wadungasri Village community, both for economic, social, cultural and educational activities. Based on data from the Siodarjo Regency Central Statistics Agency, the population of Medaeng Village from 2012 to 2021 is known to have increased. In 2012 the population of the village numbered 10,386 people and in 2021 there will be 13,351 people. The increasing population every year will cause an increase in traffic which results in congestion. In order to improve road comfort services, it is necessary to hold a planning and maintenance program so that the road can provide comfort until the design life. For the above problems, it is necessary to carry out a study of efficient improvements in terms of maintenance and durability up to the design life. Top some. the author's considerations are planning an increase in rigid pavement on the Wadung Asri road section. According to Sukirman (1999), rigid pavement is considered to have a level of durability that is in sync with the design life, and maintenance that is more affordable than other pavements. In this study the authors analyzed the comparison of cement concrete pavement calculations using the new pavement method, namely MDPJ 2017, Pd T-14 2003 and AASHTO 1993. So that the hope from this research is to obtain the thickness of the required or appropriate and economical pavement.

Abstract

The traffic on Jalan Panjang Jiwo Permai before the construction of the hospital was quite heavy due to obstacles from cars leading to the Ubaya University parking lot, these obstacles will continue to increase because the road is a commercial area. In the commercial area of the road there are many shop houses and schools around the road which create big obstacles during school or work hours and when going home. The construction of the Ubaya Hospital has added to the traffic obstacles on the road because many trucks of construction materials will frequently cross the road. So it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the performance evaluation of the road sections due to the development to determine the speed value for the comfort of road users. This study uses the 1997 MKJI method as the basis for the analysis of road evaluation calculations. In this analysis, the researcher obtains the components of the calculation by conducting field surveys directly on weekdays and holidays. The results obtained from this study were that before the construction of road users used a speed of 48 km/hour, then during construction there was a decrease in speed of 43 km/hour by road users which caused inconvenience to road users and reduced the quality of workers' time due to traffic barriers.

Abstract

The Celep APILL four-legged intersection is one of the signalized intersections located in Sidoarjo City. Traffic congestion frequently occurs at this location due to excessive vehicle volumes and inefficient signal timing. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate and analyze the performance of the intersection in addressing existing traffic problems. A review is necessary since this intersection experiences high traffic intensity, making it a critical congestion point during peak hours. The objective of this research is to determine the degree of saturation at the intersection under existing conditions and after the implementation of alternative solutions. Data analysis was conducted using field-observed traffic volume data, and the evaluation method referred to the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (PKJI) 2023. Based on the calculations, the average degree of saturation under existing conditions exceeded 0.85, indicating noncompliance with PKJI 2023 standards and the need for corrective measures. The proposed solution involved modifying the signal phasing from the original three-phase configuration to a four-phase system. The results show that the degree of saturation for each approach became less than 0.85, indicating that the signal phasing modification meets the requirements of PKJI 2023

Abstract

The Wadungasri, Waru four-way intersection is one of Sidoarjo Regency's intersections located within a commercial and industrial area, serving as a connector between industrial zones and an alternative route to the toll road and the airport. A review to improve its performance is necessary due to the high traffic volume, especially during peak hours. This research aims to determine the traffic performance under existing conditions and provide alternative solutions to enhance its performance. The study was conducted over three days: two working days and one holiday. The analysis is based on the PKJI (Indonesian Road Capacity Manual) 2023 guidelines, and the results are simulated using PTV Vissim student 2022. The collected data includes intersection geometry, AADT (Average Annual Daily Traffic) data, and population data. The analysis results for the intersection under existing conditions showed a Degree of Saturation (DS) value of 0.89 in the morning and 0.97 in the afternoon. This indicates that the existing condition does not meet the PKJI 2023 requirements. An alternative solution, based on this problem, was implemented by changing the intersection into a signalized intersection (APILL) with three signal phases. The results after implementing the intersection modification showed a decrease in the DS value to 0.72 in the morning and 0.77 in the afternoon. With this change, the performance complies with the PKJI 2023 standard, which requires DS < 0.85.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis desain perkerasan kaku pada ruas Jalan Lingkar Timur, Kecamatan Buduran, Sidoarjo, dengan membandingkan tiga metode, yaitu Pd T-14 tahun 2003, Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan (MDPJ) tahun 2017, dan Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan (MDPJ) tahun 2024. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh hasil perhitungan dimensi perkerasan kaku dari masing-masing metode dan mengetahui perbedaan dari ketiga metode tersebut dalam konteks perencanaan perkerasan jalan kaku. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan perhitungan teknis berdasarkan ketentuan pada masing-masing pedoman. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa metode Pd T-14-2003 menghasilkan tebal perkerasan sebesar 180 mm (18 cm) dengan dowel berdiameter 28 mm, panjang 450 mm, dan jarak antar dowel 300 mm. Metode MDPJ 2017 menghasilkan tebal perkerasan 305 mm (30,5 cm) dengan dowel Ø 38 mm, panjang 450 mm, dan jarak 300 mm. Sedangkan metode MDPJ 2024 memberikan hasil perkerasan dengan tebal 300 mm (30 cm) dan dowel Ø 38 mm. Perbandingan antara metode MDPJ 2017 dan MDPJ 2024, menunjukkan bahwa MDPJ 2024 menggunakan pendekatan desain yang lebih terperinci, dengan menyediakan perhitungan faktor kelelahan (fatique) dan faktor erosi per-bebannya. Hal ini memungkinkan perencanaan perkerasan menjadi lebih akurat dan efisien dalam pelaksanaannya. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pemilihan metode perencanaan perkerasan kaku yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan teknis dan kondisi aktual di lapangan.
