Abstract

The Plant Microbial Fuel Cell (PMFC) design using water hyacinth has been successfully created. The PMFC was then treated by varying the distance of the electrode and giving the effect of sunlight. The electrodes used are Cu-Zn pairs where the electrode distance varies, with values of 3, 6, 9, and 12 cm. Furthermore, the data was taken with PMFC conditions placed outside and indoors for 14 days (331 hours). The results showed that PMFC with an electrode distance of 3 cm produced a more excellent value of electrical power than the other electrode distances, which was 0.6786 mW on the second day at the 37th hour or in the afternoon at 13.00 WIB. In general, the electrical characteristics produced by PMFCs, which are affected by sunlight, produce greater electrical power than PMFCs indoors.

Abstract

The use of learning media in Bahasa Indonesia subject at SDN Langensari 04, Kabupaten Semarang, is less variation. This is due to the limited supporting media available at the school. Therefore, the researcher developed interactive PowerPoint media to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at the school. The type of research is Research and Development (R&D), which uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The research results show that the average score of 69.66 from the pretest and the posttest indicates an increase in the average student score by 90.35, with a percentage increase of 27.59% in the pretest results and 100% in the posttest. 0 students did not complete and 29 students completed, so it can be concluded that the interactive PowerPoint media is very suitable and effective for improving Bahasa Indonesia learning outcomes for fourth-grade students because the results achieved have been met.

Abstract

Salted herbal eggs are a traditional processed food product with significant economic potential to be developed as a home-based micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME). This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the residents of Mekar Jaya Village, Depok City, in producing high-quality herbal salted eggs as a viable home industry product. The program involved 52 participants consisting of housewives, youth organization members (Karang Taruna), and MSME actors. The implementation methods included lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge across several aspects, including production techniques, food hygiene, marketing strategies, and basic financial management. The highest improvement was observed in marketing and branding competencies. Post-training monitoring indicated that 88% of participants successfully initiated small-scale production and were able to market their products locally through both offline and online channels. This program demonstrates that practice-based training combined with continuous mentoring is effective in empowering communities and fostering the development of sustainable MSMEs. The findings are expected to contribute to local economic development and provide a replicable model for community-based entrepreneurship programs
