Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah “Makna Gaya Bahasa Perbandingan dalam Album Lagu Reba Kota Karya Rensi Ambang”. Fokus penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini yakni Apa Saja Makna Gaya Bahasa Perbandingan dalam Album Lagu “Reba Kota” karya Rensi Ambang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan makna gaya bahasa perbandingan dalam album lagu Reba Kota karya Rensi Ambang. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori stilistika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif terhadap dokumen berbentuk album lagu Reba Kota karya Rensi Ambang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan teknik pustaka, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data di mulai dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikkan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian dalam album lagu Reba Kota karya Rensi Ambang yang telah dilakukan, diketahui terdapat gaya bahasa perbandingan yang terdiri dari simile, metafora, alegori dan personifikasi. Gaya bahasa perbandingan yang diciptakan oleh Rensi Ambang dalam album lagu Reba Kota, menunjukkan bahwa permainan penggunaan gaya baasa sangat penting dalam membangun sebuah lagu.

Abstract

This research written by Desy Oktaviana Ga Djami with the title “The image of women in the novel women at point zero by Nawal El-Saadawi”. Supervisor by Dr. Firmina A, Nai. M.Si and Margaretha Djokaho, S, Sn. M.Pd. this research focuses on the image of the main famale character in the novel Women at Point Zero by Nawal El- Saadawi. The novel Women at Point Zero by Nawal El-Saadawi is the object of research as material for analysis to find the image of women. This research uses theory according to the view of feminism from Sugihastuti (2000) as a reference to find the image of women consisting of women’s self-image and women’s social image. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the type of data descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used is reading the novel carefully and thoroughly, underlining words, senteces and events that are the core of the analysis to find image of women that refers to feminism, and citing the results of data analysis by entering all the data into coding card. The results of the research found from the image of women in the novel women at point zero are that the physical image of women consisting of fivee units analysis, the psychological image of women thirteen units of analysis, the social image of the family six units of analysis, and the social image of society five units of analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence the variation in stimulus provided by Indonesian language subject teachers have on student learning activities in the Indonesian language learning process in the classroom. This research study was motivated by the low level of student learning activity when learning Indonesian in class, indicated by the existence of student who were lazy to answer the teacher’s questions directly, did not want to ask questions when they did not understand the material that had been explained and were lazy about reading books. This research uses a quantitave type of research, using ex post facto research methods. The population in this study was 85 people and one Indonesian language subject teacher. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample. Data collection techniques use interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that it has a significant effect on students’ learning activities in Indonesian language learning for class the conclusion of this research is that there is a significant influence or partially accepted Ha on student learning activities in learning Indonesian in class, namely that variations in teacher stimulus influence student learning activities in learning Indonesian in Class XII MIA 1 dan MIA 2 at SMA Negeri 9 Kota Kupang. So the role of the teacher is very important in implementing various variations of good and appropriate stimuli for the continuity of the learning process in the classroom, especially in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Values Contained in the Lyrics of the Song Accompanying the Dance "Tebe" by Vester Nahak (Jacques Derrida's Deconstruction Theory). The problem in this research is what values are contained in the lyrics of the song accompanying the dance "Tebe" by Vester Nahak and what factors influence the emergence of these values. This study aims to analyze the values contained in the lyrics of the song accompanying the dance "Tebe" by Vester Nahak and the factors that influence the emergence of these values. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, namely the data obtained in the form of words, not numbers, where researchers conduct observations, conduct interviews with informants, documentation, and make conclusions. The theory used in this study is Jacques Derrida's Deconstruction theory. The results of this study indicate that there are values contained in the lyrics of the accompanying dance song "Tebe" by Vester Nahak, namely social values and cultural values which are divided into several other forms of values such as social values which are divided into 2 parts, namely 1) Material Values and 2) Spiritual Values and cultural values which are divided into 4 parts, namely 1) Human Relations with Nature, 2) Human Relations with Society, 3) Human Relations with Others, 4) Human Relations with Themselves, and there are 2 factors that influence the emergence of these values, namely 1) Environmental and Cultural Factors and 2) Audience Factors.

Abstract

This research focus is based on the formulation of the problem and research objectives.This study aims to describe the form, function, and meaning of directive speech acts of the main character in the novel “Yang Telah Lama Pergi” by Tere Liye.Tere Liye's work. The theory used in this research is Pragmatics theory. Pragmatics is the study of the meaning of linguistic expressions in context. Pragmatics has a very close relationship with functional language use. Method method used in this research is descriptive qualitative because it is in accordance with the object and objectives that the researcher wants to achieve. The result of this research is in the form of directive speech acts used by the main character in Yang Telah Lama Pergi” by Tere Liye. The forms of directive speech acts in this study are 14 forms including 1) directive command 3 data, 2) directive request 5 data, 3) directive prohibition 1 data, 4) directive advice 1 data, 5) directive criticism 2 data, and 6) directive invitation 2 data, the most widely used form of speech acts is request speech acts. The functions of directive speech acts in this study are 14 forms including competitive function (competitive) 4 data, fun function (covivial) 2 data, collaborative function (collaborative) there are 6 data, conflictive function (conflictive) there are 2 data, the most widely used speech act function is the function of speech act function of working together (collaborative). Researchers hope that there will be further research analyzing the form, function and meaning of directive speech acts in novels.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the value of the struggle of the main character in the novel Saraswati Si Gadis dalam Sunyi Karya Ali Akbar Navis. This research aims to describe the value of the struggle of the main character contained in the novel Saraswati Si Gadis dalam Sunyi. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The study used in this research is the Sociology of Literature initiated by Hipolyte Taine. The data in this research are in the form of words and sentences. Data collection techniques are done by reading techniques, note-taking techniques and codding techniques. The result of this research shows that Saraswati's character is a strong picture of a disabled person who has determination, empathy, and high spirit in living a challenging life. In the analysis based on Taine's Hipolyte theory, the six values of struggle (the value of patience, the value of self-sacrifice, the value of unyielding spirit, the value of unity, the value of respect and the value of cooperation) do not stand alone, but are formed by three main elements namely Race, Moment, and Environment. First, Race (The value) of patience mostly comes from Saraswati's basic character who is calm, resolute, and not easily discouraged. Saraswati's patience in facing ridicule without verbal resistance shows the inner strength that is born in her. Second, Moment (The value of unyielding spirit and the value of willingness) to sacrifice are also a form of Saraswati's response to the challenges of the times that have not been friendly to people with disabilities. The discriminatory situation and isolation she experienced did not make her retreat, but rather motivated her to fight harder. Third, Environment (The values of unity, respect, and cooperation) are the result of Saraswati's interaction with her environment. Although she is often ostracized, Saraswati still tries to establish relationships and adapt.
