Abstract

The Karian Dam Project is one of a total of 48 dam construction strategic projects in Indonesia that have experienced delays. Based on Addendum 6, the Karian Dam Project is targeted for completion in March 2021. However, the Karian Dam Project experienced delays in several works. This study discusses the factors of delay, the location of the risk of delay, and the work item assistance that causes delays in the Karian Dam Project. The research method used in this study is a quantitativ. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The obtained data is then analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to find the source of risk that is the cause of the delay. The subsequent analysis uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to assess the risks that have been identified using the FTA method for risk capture. According to the findings, there are 47 potential sources of delay in the FTA method. After calculating the probability index, it is found that activity A9-1 (planning and implementation) has the highest probability index value of 4. The FMEA method obtains the highest value of the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) there is R-42 (planning change) with an RPN value of 64, and on arrest risk using the search risk matrix, as many as 9 risks are at high risk (high risk).

Abstract

Construction work, especially building construction, has a high risk of work accidents, because it involves many elements. Now in building construction projects, the importance of knowledge about K3 and the ability of workers has become a basic need. Attitudes towards occupational safety also have an important role, because they can reflect the level of attention a person has to work safety aspects. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze whether the knowledge and ability of building construction workers affect attitudes on accident risk. The approach applied is an associative approach. The population in this study is individuals involved in building construction, with the total population obtained is 44 respondents. Data is collected through the use of online questionnaires through the Google Form platform. After that, the data was analyzed using SEM-PLS 4.0 software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between workers' knowledge of attitudes with a path coefficient value of 0.348. There is a positive and significant influence between the ability of workers to attitudes with a path coefficient value of 0.484. There is a moderate influence between workers' knowledge and ability on attitudes, as evidenced by the R2 value obtained 0.598.

Abstract

The construction of building construction projects in Indonesia is inseparable from various risks related to work accidents, therefore risk management is very important for construction to prevent or minimize negative influences caused by an unexpected event. Since the announcement of covid-19 for the first time in 2020 until now, Indonesia is still experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic so large-scale social restrictions are imposed. This leads to restrictions on activities in the construction project environment. This study aims to analyze risk identification, risk assessment, and risk control contained in building construction projects in Indonesia. This research uses the systematic literature review method where data sources are obtained from "google scholar" in the form of published journals regarding occupational safety and health risk management in building construction projects in Indonesia from 2016-2021 with the keywords risk management, risk identification, risk assessment, risk control, and building construction. After the selection process, 23 journals were obtained. From this literature review, the most identified risks are technical project risks, the most emerging risk levels are moderate, and the most widely used risk control is administrative control.

Abstract

Building construction in Indonesia has increased rapidly; according to the BPS (Badan Central Statistics), in 2020, building construction from 2016–2019 will have 189 buildings in Jakarta. The construction includes apartments, hotels, offices, and campuses. While productivity measurements are useful as information for the company to evaluate the trends of its productivity developments over time, information from these results will later be used for reference in correcting previous shortcomings. This research aims to determine how long a tower crane’s cycle time, productivity, and operating costs are. This research was carried out on the construction project of the State Islamic University of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten. The study was conducted by observing the tower crane for six days. From data collection, whether cycle time, productivity, or operating cost, the data analysis used in this study is an analysis using productiveness formulas, cycle times, and operating costs. From the analysis of the data, it can be known that the cycle time of the tower crane heavy tool on April 25, 2022, to April 29, 2022, gained an average of 0.311 hours for the average productivity of the tower crane on April 25, 2022, until April 29, 2022, which is 9662.131 kg/hour, while the operating cost of the crane tower was Rp. 575.037.37 per hour

Abstract

Construction projects require working time specifications that need to be completed in a short time. But in practice, some interfere with the implementation. This study aims to determine whether the OHS system has been implemented in construction projects. The applications of risk management in construction projects. This study was conducted as part of the Shipunten Agung Hill River Flood Management Project in the Labuan District. The method used is the distribution of questions to be filled out by respondents who are involved in projects in the OHS Section. The type of research in this research is quantitative. Quantitative research is research that distributes surveys in the form of questionnaires to respondents and the data is processed to determine the correlation between the results of the data obtained. Processing data in this study using SPSS v.20 software to test simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the K3 system had been applied to the project by 64.8%. The most dominant variable affecting the implementation of the OHS system and the application of risk management in construction projects is that signs/signs/information about the project have been installed around the project site with a coefficient value of 6,053 and the variable that has the lowest effect on the application of the OHS system and the application of risk management to the project.

Abstract

In the implementation of construction projects, problems are often found, such as delays. One of the solutions is by accelerating. Acceleration is not only done to overcome delays, but can also be done if there is a special request from the owner. This study discusses the acceleration of time and cost using the crashing method in an apartment construction project in Bekasi City, which aims to determine the optimal time and cost of the three alternatives used. The work that is accelerated is some structural work that is on the critical path. Acceleration is carried out with three alternatives, namely the addition of working hours, the addition of labor, and the combination of additional working hours and additional labor. The results showed that with the alternative of adding working hours, the implementation time was 298 days at a cost of Rp. 140,751,032,332, obtaining a time efficiency of 5.7% and a cost efficiency of 0.42%. With the alternative of adding labor, the implementation time is 292 days at a cost of Rp. 140,092,976,595, 7.59% time efficiency and 0.89% cost efficiency are obtained. With the alternative of adding working hours and additional labor, the implementation time is 290 days at a cost of Rp. 139,912,527,724, 8.23% time efficiency and 1.02% cost efficiency are obtained. Then it can be concluded that the alternative with the most optimal time and cost is the combined alternative of adding working hours and adding labor.

Abstract

The development of construction projects cannot be separated from project control management, one of which is construction cost management. In its implementation, there are many problems that cause cost overruns. The objectives of this research are to identify architectural work components that have the potential to be value engineered, to determine the difference in project costs before and after value engineering is applied, and to determine the project cost efficiency obtained after the application of value engineering. The research method used in this research is Value Engineering Work Plan which consists of information stage, function analysis stage, creative stage, evaluation stage, development stage, and recommendation stage. Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method were used to determine the value of work efficiency. From the results of the research, it was found that walls, partitions, ceilings, and floors are architectural work items that can be applied to VE Analysis. The cost difference from the results of replacing the initial design with the recommended design, obtained a total cost savings of Rp 2.454.714.553,78 from the total cost of architectural work of Rp 11.178.625.221,13.
