Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan minat siswa untuk melakukan pembelajaran daring berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada siswa kelas X dan XI SMAN 1 Payakumbuh tahun ajaran 2020/2021 pada masa pandemi COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease-19). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 794 orang siswa, terdiri dari 410 orang siswa kelas X dan 384 orang siswa kelas XI. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan sampel acak berstrata proporsional (proportional stratified random sampling) dengan batas toleransi kesalahan (error tollerance) 10%, setelah dilakukan pembulatan maka sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 90 orang siswa, sampel tersebut terdiri dari 46 orang siswa strata kelas X dan 44 orang siswa strata kelas XI. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner tertutup. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, besaran persentase minat siswa untuk melakukan pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di SMAN 1 Payakumbuh adalah 63,67%. Berdasarkan persentase tersebut, maka minat siswa berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Elementary physical education learning outcomes are often examined through isolated physiological or psychological variables, leading to fragmented theoretical explanations. This study aims to develop an integrated conceptual understanding of how nutritional status, physical fitness, and self-perception relate to learning outcomes in elementary physical education. A Conceptual Review was conducted using a narrative synthesis of national and international peer-reviewed literature published between 2018 and 2025. Relevant studies were analyzed to identify dominant conceptual patterns, theoretical positions, and relational mechanisms among the three constructs. The analysis indicates that nutritional status and physical fitness function as foundational physiological conditions, while self-perception operates as a central psychological mechanism mediating students’ engagement and learning participation. Unlike previous research that treats these factors independently, this study proposes a unified conceptual framework that explains their interrelationships. This framework contributes to advancing holistic perspectives in physical education theory and provides a theoretical foundation for future empirical research and integrative educational interventions.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the combination of the Part-Whole Method and Video Analysis Media on cognitive learning outcomes and psychomotor skills in long jump learning among junior high school students. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a pre-test and post-test control group approach involving 56 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 02 Kabawetan who were divided equally into an experimental group (n = 28) and a control group (n = 28). The intervention was conducted over eight instructional meetings. Cognitive learning outcomes were measured using a written test based on revised Bloom’s Taxonomy, while psychomotor skills were assessed using a performance rubric and jump distance measurements. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, N-Gain analysis, paired sample t-tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the experimental group achieved significantly higher cognitive post-test scores (84.36 ± 5.18) and psychomotor post-test scores (87.25 ± 4.67) compared to the control group, with significant differences (p < 0.001) and very large effect sizes (d = 1.84; d = 1.97). The integration of both methods effectively improved students’ long jump learning outcomes.
