Abstract

This study aims to describe the transformation of Iswadi Pratama's Ingatan poem into the song Ingatan by the Orkes Bada Isya. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which makes the poem Memories by Iswadi Pratama and the song Ingatan by the Orkes Bada Isya the objects of research. Data collection uses reading, note-taking, watching, and listening techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study were: reading and understanding the poetry of Ingatan by Iswadi Pratama, watching the music video Ingatan by Orkes Bada Isya, identifying forms of change over the vehicle for the poem Ingatan by Iswadi Pratama, describing data related to forms of change the poem Ingatan by Iswadi Pratama, and draw conclusions. The results of the study show that the poem Ingatan by Iswadi Pratama in the book Harakah Haru in the Aligori dan Sejumlah Percuma sections lightly discusses a story that contains the complexity of relationships that lead to separation, heartbreak and even obstacles in experiencing a romance that is packaged but sincerely. Transformation was carried out by the Orkes Bada Isya, who made a song Ingatan, with a moderate tempo so that the musical composition is more appropriate if it is not too far-fetched, but also not fast. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan transformasi puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama menjadi lagu Ingatan oleh Orkes Bada Isya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menjadikan puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama dan lagu Ingatan oleh Orkes Bada Isya sebagai objek penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik membaca, mencatat, menonton, dan menyimak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: membaca dan memahami puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama, menonton music video Ingatan oleh Orkes Bada Isya, mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk perubahan alih wahana puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama, mendeskripsikan data terkait bentuk-bentuk perubahan alih wahana puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi Ingatan karya Iswadi Pratama dalam buku Harakah Haru pada bagian Alegori dan Sejumlah Percuma secara ringan membahas sebuah kisah yang mengandung kompleksitas hubungan hingga berujung perpisahan, patah hati, bahkan halangan dalam menjalani suatu percintaan yang dikemas dengan sederhana tetapi mendalam. Alih wahana dilakukan oleh Orkes Bada Isya yang menjadikan sebuah lagu Ingatan dengan tempo moderato sehingga komposisi musik lebih tepat jika tidak berlarat-larat, tetapi juga tidak cepat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of paronomasia in Raditya Dika’s podcast entitled “Tidak Akan Ada Agak Laen 2” through an analysis of meaning relations in semantic studies. Paronomasia is understood as a language game or word twists, so it is relevant to be studied in the context of podcasts that are spontaneous, interactive, and full of improvisation. The data sources for this study include all utterances produced by Raditya Dika and other comedians in the podcast, while the data are in the form of utterance units that show sound similarities accompanied by shifts in meaning. Data collection was carried out through observation and recording techniques using observation sheets to record, select, and identify forms of word twists in the context of conversation. Data analysis includes data reduction, classification of forms of meaning relations, analysis of the context of emergence, and presentation of results in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the study indicate that paronomasia is realized through three main forms of meaning relations, namely acronyms, homophony, and paronymy. Acronyms are found in two data in the form of creative shortenings, namely “ela” and “gaukat”. Homophony is the most dominant form, characterized by sound similarities that produce different meanings, as seen in the use of “tortor”, “pabrik gulai”, “pim-pim”, and “sunglap”. Paronymy is identified through puns on the film titles “Sabtu Bersama Batak”, “Perempuan Tanah Jahe Enam”, and “Kambing Santan”. The research findings indicate that paronomasia functions as a linguistic strategy that utilizes phonological creativity and meaning-relational mechanisms to construct humor while maintaining interaction in digital spoken discourse. Theoretically, this research strengthens understanding of the role of paronomasia in the process of meaning-formation in podcast-based communication.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of personal deixis usage, analyze their appropriateness in speech context, and explain the phenomenon within a pragmatic framework. The research was conducted virtually on Instagram, particularly on the @verenaindha account, with data collected progressively from earlier to recent posts representing the child’s developmental stages. The population consisted of all child utterances in Reels content, while the sample included utterances produced by a child named Nala aged 22 months to approximately 5 years that contain personal deixis elements. The research instrument was the researcher supported by documentation and transcription techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing within a pragmatic approach. The results indicate that personal deixis usage develops gradually from non-deictic forms to more complex and contextually appropriate deictic forms. At the early stage, the child used proper names to refer to herself instead of first-person pronouns. This was followed by the use of kinship terms before eventually acquiring pronouns such as “I,” “you,” “he/she,” and “we.” This progression reflects the development of pragmatic competence, although inconsistencies still occur in certain situations. Furthermore, a distinction was found between linguistic accuracy and sociopragmatic appropriateness, particularly in the use of “I–you” forms toward parents. Overall, the development of personal deixis is influenced by cognitive factors and social environment.
