<![CDATA[Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan termasuk salah satu daerah yang memiliki sumber daya alam yang melimpah khususnya di sektor perikanan, sehingga sektor ini dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian daerah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji potensi dan proyeksi nilai PDRB sektor perikanan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa data runtun waktu dari nilai Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) Indonesia berlaku berdasarkan harga tahun 2018 – 2022 , dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis trend, analisis LQ dan analisis DLQ. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai proyeksi PDRB sektor perikanan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan tahun 2023-2027 terus mengalami peningkatan. Hasil analisis LQ dan DLQ diperoleh nilai rata-rata > 1, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sektor perikanan merupakan sektor unggulan di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Artinya sektor tersebut mampu memberikan dampak positif bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan di masa yang akan datang dikarenakan produksinya dapat diekspor serta potensi pengembangan sektor tersebut tumbuh dengan cepat. Implikasi kebijakannya adalah meningkatkan produksi perikanan budidaya maupun penangkapan yang dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pemberian pelatihan di bidang budidaya dan penangkapan, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan lahan budidaya, serta meningkatkan investasi di sektor perikanan melalui penyediaan sarana dan prasarana budidaya, dan alat penanngkapan ikan moderen yang ramah lingkungan. The aim of this research is to determine the potential and projected GRDP value of the fisheries sector in South Sulawesi Province. The data used is secondary data in the form of time series data from the value of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of South Sulawesi Province and Indonesia’s valid Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on prices for 2018 – 2022, and analyzed using trend analysis, LQ analysis and DLQ analysis. The research results obtained show that the projected value of GRDP for the fishery sector in South Sulawesi Province in 2023-2027 continues to increase. The results of LQ and DLQ analysis obtained an average value of > 1, so it can be concluded that the fisheries sector is the leading sector in South Sulawesi Province. This means that this sector is able to have a positive impact on the economic growth of South Sulawesi Province in the future because its production can be exported and the development potential of this sector is growing rapidly. The policy implication is to increase the production of aquaculture and capture fisheries which can be done by improving the quality of human resources through providing training in the fields of cultivation and fishing, utilization of natural resources through optimizing the use of cultivation land, and increasing investment in the fisheries sector through the provision of aquaculture facilities and infrastructure. and modern environmentally friendly fishing equipment.]]>
