The performance of banking as an intermediary institution that mobilizes funds in the economy has also been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic since early 2020. As a result of this phenomenon, the value of non-performing loans (NPLs) or non-performing loans has also decreased due to the ability to pay from customers has also decreased. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the effect of Non Performing Loans (NPL) and credit restructuring on the profitability and BOPO of conventional commercial banking companies registered with OJK during the Covid-19 period (June 2020 – June 2021). This type of research is quantitative research. The population of this research is all conventional general banking companies registered with the OJK during the Covid-19 period for the period June 2020-June 2021, which are 107 banks. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, namely the sampling technique based on the criteria set by the researcher. The data collection technique is secondary data in the form of an annual report obtained from the OJK official website. The analytical tool to test the hypothesis uses descriptive analysis with multiple regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis test of Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a negative effect on Return on Assets (RoA), Credit Restructuring has a positive effect on Return on Assets (RoA), Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a negative effect on Return On Equity (ROE), Credit Restructuring has a negative effect on Positive effect on Return On Equity (ROe), Non Performing Loan (NPL) has a positive effect on Operating Expenses on Operating Income (BOPO), Credit Restructuring has a negative effect on Operating Expenses on Operating Income (BOPO). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that NPL has an effect on profitability and BOPO, while credit restructuring has no effect on profitability and BOPO. The advice given is that the author suggests that banks should better manage their productive assets by providing credit effectively, efficiently, and with the principle of prudence, because if banks can manage lending properly, it can minimize the emergence of non-performing loans (NPL).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how much influence Succession Planning has on Organizational Sustainability through the role of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience using the SEM-PLS method. This research uses quantitative methods to analyze the influence of Succession Planning on Organizational Sustainability through the roles of Transformational Leadership, Learning Agility, and Resilience. The research used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. Primary research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 119 respondents from a total population of 170 employees. The questionnaire contains structured questions that include the variables studied and filled in by respondents online or offline. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive methods using an SEM PLS. The data obtained from the questionnaires were processed and explained statistically by testing the data using SmartPLS 4.0. Based on the results of descriptive analysis and testing through SmartPLS 4.0, it was found that organizational sustainability can be influenced by learning agility and resilience through the mediation of transformational leadership and succession planning. There is a significant relationship between learning agility and resilience variables mediated by transformational leadership and succession planning on organizational sustainability. However, the research results also show that transformational leadership does not have a statistically significant relationship with organizational sustainability, but there is a very significant relationship between transformational leadership and succession planning. The research results are used to establish recommendations to the management of PT XYZ in maintaining the sustainability of the organization and further research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of psychological capital and motivation on employee performance in financing distribution, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Psychological capital, which includes self-efficacy, optimism, hope, and resilience, plays an important role in improving employee motivation and performance. In addition, motivation is a key factor that encourages employees to work more effectively in achieving financing distribution targets. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to analyze the relationship between variables. Data was collected through a survey of employees involved in the financing distribution process at financial institutions. The findings show that psychological capital and motivation have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction is shown to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between psychological capital, motivation, and employee performance. These results suggest that companies need to pay attention to developing psychological capital and increasing employee motivation to improve job satisfaction, which in turn has a positive impact on their performance in disbursing financing. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to implement strategies that support psychological well-being and employee motivation to optimize work productivity.
