Abstract

This research aims to describe various classroom management approaches and the steps to implement them in the classroom. This research uses a literature study research method by processing primary data sourced from various reference articles and books. The results of this study are related to the understanding of the classroom management approach which is a teacher's perspective on classroom management activities to make the class more effective. The types of approaches include the authoritarian approach, intimidating approach, permissive approach, behavior change approach, and cookbook approach. From these various approaches, researchers suggest that educators use various classroom management approaches according to their needs and not only use one classroom management approach.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the geometric patterns of medallions in Kidal Temple using a qualitative approach with an ethnographic research design. The data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research utilized both the main instrument (the researcher themselves) and auxiliary instruments including interview guidelines, observation sheets, math concept suitability sheets, and documentation tools. The geometric concept of the medallions in Kidal Temple encompassed the circle, quadrilateral, and congruence on the circle. The outer side of the medallion was a flat circular shape, which was verified through measurement and instrument adjustment. On the inside of the geometric medallion, there was a rectangular flat shape formed by four lines. Another significant finding of this study was the concept of circle equality, as the center of the medallion exhibited the same characteristics as the outer part despite differing in size. It is important to note that the scope of this research is limited to ethnomathematics studies, specifically focusing on the relief form of geometric medallions. Consequently, further research is needed to explore the implications as like as learning Realistic Mathematic Education of these findings in the context of geometric medallions.

Abstract

The aims of tthis study was to create a valid Ethnomathematics-based LKPD (Student Worksheets) on the batik motif Pamiluro Ceplokan Gresik, using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education for fourth-grade students, focusing on the material of Plane Geometry. Furthermore, the study aimed to evaluate the students' responses after utilizing the LKPD. The research employed a development research design, utilizing the ADDIE approach. The LKPD was evaluated by media expert validators, material expert validators, and learning validators. The media expert validators awarded a score of 98.33, indicating a high level of validity. Similarly, the material expert validators and the learning validators also awarded scores of 86.53, both falling within the very valid category. The student responses to the LKPD were assessed, resulting in a score of 84.43%, indicating a positive response. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the LKPD is a suitable instructional material for teaching mathematics and elicits a positive learning response. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis Etnomatematik pada motif batik Pamiluro Ceplokan Gresik dengan Pendekatan Matematik Realistik Indonesia materi Bangun Datar kelas IV secara valid dan mengukur respon siswa pasca penggunaan LKPD. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan yakni penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan ADDIE. Berdasar penilaian validator ahli media, didapatkan skor sebesar 98,33 yang menunjukkan kategori sangat valid. Validator kedua yakni validator ahli materi didapatkan skor sebesar 86,53 dengan kategori sangat valid. Penilaian ketiga oleh validator pembelajaran yang turut memberikan skor 86,53 dengan kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap LKPD didapatkan skor 84,43% dengan kategori positif. Sejalan dengan hasil yang telah ditemukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD sebagai bahan ajar matematika telah layak digunakan dan memberikan respon positif pada pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study intends to explain and describe how the meaning of the role of the wife is contained in the filmSurga yang Tak Dirindukan 3. This study aims to determine the meaning of the wife's role in the film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 3. This study uses the concept of film and Charles Sanders Peirce's theory of semiotics. The research method used is Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotics, with a qualitative research approach. The paradigm of this research refers to the Constructivism paradigm. The result of this research is that there is a meaning that the wife is not only a life partner but can be a friend when sad, when the husband falls, the wife can be a giver of encouragement and support, as well as controlling the situation when the husband carries out activities. The conclusion of this research is that the researcher found 3 scenes that represent the meaning of the wife's role in the film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 3, including: the wife as a life partner, as a life companion who is wise in giving advice to her husband, as a support for the husband. the meaning of the role of the wife can be emulated by the wife in general.
