Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to find out the impact of the elimination of national examinations according to junior high school students during the covid-19 pandemic in Batu. This type of research is descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. Data analysis in this study uses source triangulation. Data analysis is taken by reducing data, summarizing all data results, and presented in narrative form and then concluded. The number of research subjects was 6 junior high school students in Batu, as well as data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews. Data analysis in this study is in the form of presentation of data in a short description. The results of data analysis showed that in the implementation of national examinations there is a positive impact that students are encouraged to actively study and negative impacts that students experience psychological and mental pressures because they have to master the learning materials to be tested. Students' graduation is seen from the national test scores to apply to the intended school. This happens so that a policy arises that is the elimination of national examinations.Keywords: Policies, National Examinations, Students, Covid-19 Pandemic Period.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning module for the course Pengantar Studi Islam (Introduction to Islamic Studies) at the Ali bin Abi Thalib Islamic College (STAI) Surabaya, focusing on the sources of Islamic teachings: the Qur'an, Sunnah, Ijma', and Qiyas. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model, which involves three stages: planning, development, and evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation, student questionnaires, and formative evaluation. The results of the study show that the developed module is valid, with an average score of 94% from content experts and 95.5% from language experts. It was also deemed very practical by students, with an average score of 82.82%. The module has proven to meet learning needs by providing structured material, communicative language, and relevant exercises. Suggestions from validators and students were implemented to enhance the quality of the module, making it more suitable for the learning context. The conclusion of this study indicates that the developed PSI learning module is valid, practical, and feasible for use in improving the quality of learning. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar teaching materials in the future.

Abstract

Pendidikan keagamaan yang di jalankan dalam ruang lingkup sekolah berbasis Islam Terpadu tidak lepas dari penilaian kemampuan pelajar dalam memahaminya, dan hal itu perlu diukur dalam bentuk sebuah kompetisi, sebagai contoh sebuah ajang perlombaan yang bernama Festival Anak Sholeh (FAS). Sebagai wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi generasi muda dalam menuntut ilmu Agama Islam. Tujuan pengabdian adalah mengukur kemampuan pelajar tingkat sekolah dasar (SD) dalam beberapa petunjukkan bakat, kemampuan, dan pemahaman mereka dalam mempelajari bidang-bidang keilmuan Agama Islam seperti kemampuan Adzan, Tilawah, dan Cerdas Cermat. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan (ABCD) Asset Based Community Development, yang mengutamakan pemanfaatan aset dan potensi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat di Kalurahan Planjan. Hasil pengabdian adalah bahwa para murid masih memiliki minat dan kemampuan dalam mempelajari serta menguasai pendidikan Islam sejak dini, demikian juga bahasa Arab, walau sedikitnya tenaga pengajaran di bidang tersebut, baik dalam maupun luar sekolah dasar.
