Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out about the work ethic of chili traders at market 46 along Jalan Baru, East Jambi District, Jambi City. and can reveal the causes of violations of business ethics in the work ethic of market 46 chili traders. This research model uses a qualitative descriptive research model. From the results of this research, it was found that seven out of eight traders had implemented and had a good work ethic and were in accordance with the provisions of Islamic business ethics. However, in this case, one trader was found who did not comply with Islamic business ethics, namely in terms of serving and responding to complaints.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled The Role of Waqf Land in Improving the Economic of the Temiang Island Community in Tebo Ulu. This research uses qualitative research methods. The types and sources of data needed are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation, while data analysis methods include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show the role of Waqf Land in improving the economic welfare of the people of Temiang Island in Tebo Ulu, namely that many people depend on the income they get from trading in the market and most people fulfill their needs. From a spiritual aspect, it provides very positive results and the role of waqf land which is managed as an elementary school building becomes a forum for the local community to teach children and provide insight. The obstacles faced by the management of the role waqf are the lack of competent human resources and the status of the role waqf land does not yet have a certificate and there is a lack of ways to educate the people on Temiang Tebo Ulu Island. The solution that can be implemented is to increase human resources by providing training and guidance to the community and the management of the Nurul Ihksan Mosque and increasing socialization to the community regarding waqf both online and in person

Abstract

This research explores the contribution of ZIS-based Islamic philanthropic institutions in improving community welfare in Adipura Kencana Village, Sungai Bahar Sub-district, Muaro Jambi District. The aim of this study is to understand the contributions, impacts, and efforts of ZIS-based Islamic philanthropic institutions in supporting business capital assistance programs in Sungai Bahar Sub-district, Muaro Jambi District. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using both primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is conducted using domain, taxonomic, and componential analyses. The results indicate that direct fund distribution by the institution significantly strengthens the relationship and sense of kinship between the community and the philanthropic institution. Through direct interaction with the community, prospective aid recipients are more open in expressing their concerns and needs, making the assistance provided by the philanthropic institution highly beneficial. The community feels a considerable positive impact from the presence of Islamic philanthropic institutions managing zakat in their area, as many individuals are able to improve their welfare through productive enterprises thanks to the assistance provided by the institution. The institution carefully selects aid recipients to ensure that assistance reaches those who truly need it. However, some community members still feel they belong in the less-privileged category yet have not received assistance from the institution.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the effectiveness of the productive implementation of zakat as an effort to distribute zakat funds in the Jambi City National Zakat Amil Agency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, namely problems that guide researchers to explore and photograph the situation to be researched thoroughly, broadly and in depth. The data collection technique is field research (field research), while the tools used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research inform that the distribution of productive zakat carried out by BAZNAS Jambi City through the distribution of productive zakat to mustahik in Jambi City has been effective, because it can improve the welfare of mustahik, this is proven by the increase in income of fourteen out of fifteen mustahik people as a whole and one person whose income is fixed.
