Abstract

Women have an extensive role in fostering welfare in family and community life. Therefore, women need psychological well-being, characterized by a healthy, happy mental condition and the ability to face challenges or problems by utilizing all their potential. A person with psychological well-being is also characterized by self-acceptance, personal growth, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental mastery, and having a purpose in life—religiosity is a factor that influences psychological well-being. Religiosity requires a person to seek harmony, understanding, belief constantly, a strong belief in divine teachings, carry out religious practices or rituals well, and have moral and ethical values. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of religiosity on the psychological well-being of Taklim assembly mothers. This research uses a quantitative approach. The research population is all assemblies in Medan City, which has 21 sub-districts. The sample uses a cluster area random sampling technique. Sampling is done using a random area sampling technique based on the selected region or sub-district. These findings indicate that religiosity influences the psychological well-being of Taklim assembly women in Medan City. This is obtained from the calculated coefficient value of 9.292 and a sig value <0.05. So, it can be said that religiosity directly influences psychological well-being empirically. So, it is believed empirically that religiosity positively and significantly influences psychological well-being, in other words, variation. The level of welfare (psychological well-being) at the Medan City Taklim Council is influenced by religiosity.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: the influence of professionalism on teacher performance; the influence of professionalism on achievement motivation; the influence of achievement motivation on teacher performance; and The simultaneous influence of professionalism and achievement motivation on teacher performance. This study uses a quantitative method with the subject of the study being kindergarten teachers in Binjai City with a population of 549 and a sample of 231 people. Sampling was carried out with total sampling. The research method is a path analysis that aims to test theories and obtain research information. The results of this study are presented: 1) there is a direct influence between professionalism and teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of rX2X4 = 0.075. The effective contribution given by the professionalism variable to teacher performance is 7.5%. 2) there is a direct influence between professionalism and achievement motivation with a correlation coefficient rX2X3 = 0.811. The effective contribution given by the professionalism variable to achievement motivation was 8.1%. 3) there was a direct effect between achievement motivation and teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of rX3X4 = 0.001. The effective contribution given by the achievement motivation variable to teacher performance is 1%. 4) there was a simultaneous influence between organizational climate, professionalism, and achievement motivation on teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of rX1X2X3X4 = 0.092. The effective contribution given by the variables of organizational climate, professionalism and achievement motivation to teacher performance was 9.2%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Islamic supervision and communication at the State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) and the Insan Cendekia State Islamic Senior High School in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. The study was conducted qualitatively from January to September 2024. Informants consisted of the head of the school, the deputy head of curriculum, teachers, and students. The results of the study show: (1) Supervision of curriculum management and learning in both schools is carried out systematically, with well-organised plans and documentation, and the active role of the school's deputy head for curriculum. (2) Student supervision focuses on monitoring students' academic and social development. (3) Supervision of facilities and infrastructure is managed well, through inventory, periodic maintenance, and adequate budget support. (4) Supervise personnel, clearly divide tasks, monitor performance, and train and develop professional education personnel. (5) Implementing Islamic communication shows a positive relationship between the school and the community, as evidenced by active partnerships through joint activities such as social services and school committee meetings. Effective communication between the school and parents supports improving the quality of education. Overall, Islamic supervision and communication played an important role in enhancing mutual management and community involvement in education in both madrasahs.

Abstract

This research aims to answer the problems: (1) To comprehensively analyze the history and struggle of H. Syaikh Bahruddin Talib Lubis in establishing and carrying out his leadership in the field of education in madrasas in particular and the relevance of the education system in North Sumatra to date, (2) Providing color in the education system and development across generations of different ages and periods, as well as providing learning lessons for the importance of strengthening the foundations of educational leadership that cadres and regenerates. This research method uses qualitative library research with a semantic approach, which means that language studies consist of structures to reveal meaning, when meaning is connected to objects in human experience. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach emphasizes descriptive analysis techniques in the qualitative comparison process of literature, regarding the dynamics of relationships between observed phenomena using scientific logic based on observation data, interviews and documentation . Based on the qualitative comparative research process of literature, this research produces results; 1) Implementation of the Leadership of Shaikh H. Bahruddin Talib Lubis in the Education Sector; a) The Shaikh is descended from a prominent and respected family with a strong Islamic religious knowledge by emulating his predecessors, and is loved by the public and admired by his contemporary ulama. b) The Shaikh has visionary leadership, characterized by an education system that is implemented beyond his time. 2) Influence and Leadership Reputation of Sheikh H. Bahruddin Talib Lubis in the Education Sector; a) The Shaykh has a very broad scientific caliber and exceeds the scientific knowledge of the average person of his contemporaries, b) The Shaykh has a firm, consistent and disciplined character. Be tough on those who are wrong and deceitful, soft on people who are committed to education and Islamic teachings. 3) Community Support for the Leadership of Shaikh H. Bahruddin Talib Lubis in the Education Sector; a) The Shaikh is very tolerant and open to accepting suggestions and criticism from society, b) The Shaikh focuses on da'wah and education. preaching personally and organizationally. Educated culturally and institutionally. 4) Strengths and Weaknesses of Sheikh H. Bahruddin Talib's Leadership in the Education Sector; a) Strength, positive character, consistent focus in the mission of preaching and education. Resilient and never giving up from being hit by the problems of the social order of life, b) Weaknesses, cadre formation and regeneration in sustainable education.
