Abstract

SDS Nurul Huda is a private elementary school located at Jl. Sei Serayu No 38, Babura, District of Medan Sunggal, City of Medan, North Sumatra Province. This school has been operating since 1978. Currently, student data entry and grading at SDS Nurul Huda are still done manually. Some teachers face difficulties in inputting data and grading due to it being time-consuming, especially for older teachers who struggle with reading numbers. Errors in writing student data and grades also frequently occur. This research aims to develop a data entry and grading application for students as a solution to enhance efficiency in school administration processes and replace the manual system, which is often prone to errors and time-consuming in data entry and grading. The outcome of this research is an Application for Data Entry and Grading for SDS Nurul Huda to facilitate teachers in swiftly and easily inputting student data and grades.

Abstract

PT. PLN ULP Medan Baru is part of a State-Owned Enterprise that focuses on the Customer Service Unit. Currently customers are already using the PLN Mobile application, but some customers still come to the office directly to submit complaints and complaints regarding the condition of electricity in their homes. The PLN Mobile application sometimes experiences errors when making complaints, some users may face problems if the application is not compatible with the current version. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that makes it easier for customers to process complaints, requests for new installations, power changes and migration. The results of this research produced an information system for Electrical Installation Services at PT. PLN ULP Medan Baru, which aims to make it easier for customers to report complaints or problems related to electricity where they live.

Abstract

Investing involves allocating funds to achieve optimal returns by evaluating opportunities and managing risks in asset acquisition. Recently, many news reports have highlighted issues in the Indonesian capital market, such as stock investors using online loan funds for trading, which often leads to debt. This research aims to apply the K-Medoids algorithm for stock clustering, enabling investors to select fundamentally sound stocks based on the Price-Earnings Ratio (PER) and Price-Book Value (PBV). The K-Medoids method results show that Cluster 1 includes 93 stocks with moderate PER and PBV values. Cluster 2 comprises 91 stocks with the lowest PER and PBV values. Cluster 3 contains 113 stocks with the highest PER and PBV values. Developing an information system that classifies stocks based on PER and PBV can help investors analyze and make investment decisions more effectively.

Abstract

Data security is an important factor in electronic transactions because data is sent should be known only to those who are authorized to receive information. Many aspects of data security must be maintained, such as: authenticity, integrity, non-rejection, authority, security, privacy, and access control. The purpose of this study is to create a security system in protecting data and access that requires system security. The process in this study is the creation of an Encoder and Decoder application where in this Encoder Process we insert an image then we set the pixel size and insert Text in the image. At the Decoder stage an image that has gone through the previous Encoder Process can be displayed again to see the result of the Text inserted in the image.

Abstract

During this digital era, technology has had a huge impact on the way we create, process and enjoy media. The development of multimedia has allowed us to combine various types of media, such as text, images, audio and video, into one interactive and engaging platform. Technology has also made media processing easier and more efficient, allowing us to more quickly and effectively access and enjoy media content. In this article, we will review the development and application of technology in media processing, and discuss how this affects the way we create and enjoy media content. We will also review some case examples that show how technology has changed the multimedia industry and the way we access media content.
