Abstract

The author chose the topic of analyzing meaning and moral values ​​so that elementary school age students can easily absorb the meaning and understand the moral values ​​contained in children's poetry so that they can be implemented in everyday life. The author took samples of 6 poems on the poindua.net website by Yunita. The method used by the author is the literary study method with data analysis techniques in the form of interactive analysis. The results of the analysis carried out by the author show that children's poetry has several implied meanings so it is difficult to understand and contains moral values ​​in it. One of the results of the poem that we analyzed was entitled "Rainbow" with the moral value contained, namely being grateful for all the blessings that God has given us.

Abstract

This study attempts to provide a description of application of problem-based learning model based on Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) that can increase environmental awareness. This study utilizes the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The study was conducted with all students from grade V A at SD Negeri Rejosari Surakarta as subjects. The data used are qualitative and quantitative data with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity test technique uses triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis uses data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of this study prove that the model can increase students' environmental awareness which is reflected in the increasing understanding of environmental issues, empathy and responsibility, and environmentally conscious behavior in everyday life.
