Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a prevalent ailment and stands as one of the primary causes of mortality among children under the age of five. As reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, ARI predominantly affects children aged one to four years, with an incidence rate of 13.7%. Binary logistic regression is utilized to predict the likelihood of ARI occurrences in children under five, employing a linear combination of log-odds pertaining to suspected contributory factors. This study aims to evaluate the risk factors associated with ARI and develop an optimal logistic regression model by analyzing data from 166 participants who visited the Tarus regional health center between July 21 and September 1, 2023. Factors considered in this research as predictors for ARI (dependent variable ) include Immunization Status (X1), exposure to cigarette smoke at residence (X2), exposure to wood smoke at residence (X3), exclusive breastfeeding (X4), and nutritional status (X5). The final analysis revealed that incomplete immunization, exposure to cigarette smoke, and exposure to wood smoke at residence significantly heighten the risk of ARI. The most fitting logistic model obtained was expressed as logit (π_ijk)=-1.1051+1.2297X1+0.8709X2+1.31085X3.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Untuk menjaga proses produksi berjalan lancar diperlukan suatu perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan program dinamik probabilistik dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan baku untuk meminimumkan biaya produksi dengan mempertimbangkan masa kedaluwarsa. Masalah produksi dan pengendalian persediaan dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode program dinamik. Proses perhitungan untuk mendapatkan total biaya produksi minimum yang dikeluarkan oleh pihak KCS Bakery tanpa menggunakan program dinamik adalah sebesar Rp 24.192.619,84 dengan keuntungan sebesar Rp. 84.497.380 biaya yang dikeluarkan berdasarkan jumlah produksi roti setiap periode Januari-Desember 2022. Setelah menggunakan program dinamik diperoleh biaya produksi minimum adalah Rp. 18.467.460 dengan keuntungan Rp. 92.129.040 dalam jangka waktu 1 tahun (12 bulan). Abstract

Alcohol is a psychoactive substance that is addictive. Psychoactive substances are a class of substances that act selectively, especially on the brain, which can cause changes in a person's behavior, emotions, cognition, perception and consciousness. Alcohol is an addictive substance that can cause addiction and dependence. Alcohol addiction is a condition when a person experiences an addiction to alcohol and is difficult to control until he becomes dependent. Alcohol addiction occurs due to consuming too much alcohol so that the level is sufficient to cause mental changes and experience a sensation of satisfaction when consumed. The habit of consuming alcohol for teenagers begins due to a lack of knowledge and invitations, persuasion and seduction from friends which make a teenager want to try consuming alcohol. After getting to know and feel the sensation of consuming alcohol, a teenager gradually begins to fall into the world of alcohol and begins to increase his consumption due to the free social environment among teenagers. This research aims to build a mathematical model of SDAR type alcohol addiction. Based on the research results, two equilibrium points were obtained, namely the equilibrium point free from alcohol addiction and will be stable when and the equilibrium point where there is alcohol addiction and will be stable when . The simulation results were observed in two conditions, namely when and the value was obtained, meaning that the rate of movement from the population of teenagers who tried to consume alcohol to alcohol addiction was still small, so that teenagers who Alcohol addiction will decrease until alcoholics will disappear from the population over time. Then when and the value is obtained, meaning that the rate of movement from the population of teenagers who try to consume alcohol to alcohol addiction is increasing until there will be more and more alcoholics and will increase in the population as along the time.

Abstract

Rokok adalah hasil olahan tembakau yang digulung/dilinting dengan kertas baik menggunakan tangan atau mesin. Perilaku merokok merupakan suatu aktivitas membakar tembakau, menghisap lalu menghembuskan asapnya. Merokok telah diketahui menjadi faktor resiko karena mengandung zat-zat kimia yang berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan. Matematika merupakan salah satu ilmu yang dapat menganalisa masalah yang terjadi dalam kehidupan dengan menggunakan pemodelan matematika. Salah satu masalah yang dapat dikaji dengan model matematika adalah penyebaran perilaku merokok. Penelitian ini mengkaji penyebaran perilaku merokok terhadap laki-laki dengan memperhatikan faktor lingkungan pertemanan. Model ini membagi menjadi empat subpopulasi yaitu: subpopulasi laki-laki yang berpotensi menjadi perokok , subpopulasi laki-laki yang hanya coba-coba merokok , subpopulasi laki-laki perokok aktif , subpopulasi laki-laki yang sembuh dari pengaruh rokok . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh dua titik ekuilibrium yaitu titik ekuilibrium bebas merokok dan titik ekuilibrium endemik . Hasil simulasi titik ekuilibrium bebas merokok menunjukan bahwa nilai , maka perilaku merokok berkurang dan akan hilang seiring berjalannya waktu. Hasil simulasi titik ekuilibrium endemik menunjukan bahwa nilai , maka perilaku merokok akan meningkat dan setiap perokok dapat menularkan perilaku merokoknya kepada lebih dari satu perokok baru sehingga perilaku merokok semakin meluas.
