Abstract

Penyandang disabilitas sering kali mengalami putus asa dan kehilangan harapan dalam menjalani hidup karena kondisi yang mereka alami. Namun, banyak juga penyandang disabilitas yang menjadikan kondisi mereka untuk maju dan hidup mandiri. PT.Wangta Agung dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian karena PT.Wangta Agung mempekerjakan penyandang disabilitas, berupa disabilitas rungu dan grahita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur motivasi kerja karyawan penyandang disabilitas di PT.Wangta Agung. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 15 orang karyawan penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran, instrumen kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Multidimentional Work Motivation Scale, dan instrumen kualitatif menggunakan wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan Analisa data kuantitatif, aspek intrinsic motivation memperoleh score rata-rata tertinggi dengan nilai rata-rata (mean) 4,1533 dan extrinsic regulation–social mempunyai score rata-rata terendah nilai rata-rata (mean) 2,7133. Peran terbesar dalam motivasi kerja karyawan penyandang disabilitas di PT. Wangta Agung adalah aspek Intrinsic Motivation. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil penelitian kualitatif dimana karyawan penyandang disabilitas dapat menikmati pekerjaan yang diberikan kepada mereka sehingga mereka merasa bahagia dan lebih termotivasi dalam bekerja.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work ability and work motivation on the productivity of workers with disabilities at PT. Wangta Agung. As a form of inclusion and equal employment opportunities, PT Wangta Agung employs workers with disabilities who are usually not considered enough and do not get the same opportunities as other workers. Data analysis was carried out using multiple line regression. Based on research, it can be concluded that work ability and work motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the productivity of workers with disabilities at PT. Wangta Agung. Likewise, partial testing shows that both work ability and work motivation have a significant influence on the productivity of workers with disabilities at PT. Wangta Agung. Based on this, companies need to consider improving the work ability of their workforce and motivating them so that it has a positive impact on increasing productivity in order to achieve company goals.
