Abstract

This article discusses women and family-based voter education strategies to increase community participation in regional elections in Buton, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Voter education plays an important role in strengthening democracy and generating public interest, then women and families are important segments in the context of political participation in Indonesia. This study uses qualitative methods, analyzed with political participation theory. Data was collected by means of document study and interviews. The documents analyzed refer to articles, books, scientific reports and various studies related to the discussion, while the informants interviewed are women voters and their families. This study concludes that as an election organizer, the KPU at the district/city level can adopt the concept of a social learning framework to observe the configuration and dynamics in organizing elections. Social learning involves commissioners and the public in learning from peers, first-time voters, and available resources. Political education can also strengthen democratization efforts and overcome negative perceptions of politics. Voter education plans must consider the development of autonomy, open-mindedness, efficiency, transparency, and popular or non-formal education. To increase community participation in elections, women and their families must maximize their role as segments of voters who are close to the community. According to political participation theory, one effective strategy to increase political participation is elections that involve women and families so that people's voices can be meaningful in building democracy.

Abstract

The research examines and analyzes the effect of the variable leadership style on employee confidence, work commitments and human resources performance. Besides, this research examines and analyzes the influence of variables of trust employees to work commitments and tests and analyzes the effect of trust and commitment of employees working on the performance of human resources. This research was conducted by survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 employees at the Regional Employment and Training Agency. Sampling using the census method to test the hypothesis using SEM with Partial Least Squares application program (PLS). The analysis showed that the style of leadership and a significant positive effect on employee confidence, work commitments and performance of human resources, and employee confidence and a significant positive effect on employee job commitment and confidence, while work commitments and a significant positive effect on the performance of human resources. Therefore, this research concludes that the leadership style is always friendly with subordinates, involving subordinates in decisions, and the importance of friends with common interests can increase the confidence of human resources, commitment to work and the performance of human resources. Besides, increased confidence and commitment to human resources work can improve the performance of human resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan tantangan (SWOT) dalam implementasi Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) di IAIN Kendari, sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Islam. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen, ditemukan bahwa SPMI di IAIN Kendari telah memiliki kekuatan pada aspek struktur kelembagaan yang jelas, komitmen pimpinan yang kuat, kelengkapan dokumen mutu, serta pelaksanaan audit mutuinternal yang konsisten. Namun, kelemahan masih terlihat pada pemahaman yang belum merata di kalangan sivitas akademika, belum optimalnya sistem pelaporan digital, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Di sisi eksternal, peluang hadir dalam bentuk dukungan regulasi nasional, tuntutan peningkatan akreditasi, kemajuan teknologi, serta kolaborasi antar-PTKIN. Adapun tantangan mencakup perubahan regulasi yang cepat, keterbatasan anggaran, dan resistensi terhadapbudaya mutu. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT, dirumuskan empat strategi utama, yakni strategi SO, WO, ST, dan WT,yang menekankan pentingnya integrasi sistem digital, penguatan budaya mutu, peningkatan kapasitas SDM, serta penyusunan kebijakan dan anggaran berbasis mutu. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan kebijakan mutu yang adaptif, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi keagamaan.

Abstract

This article aims to systematically describe force majeure in Islamic boarding school management, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aspects studied are Islamic boarding school policies in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic phenomenon and the technological readiness of Islamic boarding schools. This research is qualitative research with a narrative approach, where various information is presented systematically as a series of events that have meaning. The research results show that: First, the Annur Azzubaidi Islamic boarding school issued a social restriction policy, not sending students home, so that educational activities were still ongoing. Second, technological readiness is very low, due to the boarding school's perspective which places more emphasis on providing traditional education. Accommodation and adaptation of technology is done slowly and very carefully. Socialization of Islamic boarding schools, especially during the season for accepting new students, is still carried out using traditional methods, without utilizing the latest technological products, for example the use of social media (in its various variants). This condition is an emanation of the attitude and consistency of the boarding school leaders towards the basic values that they believe in. The Annur Azzubaidi Islamic boarding school was founded to seek blessings from God, build the Qur'an generation, so as far as possible to prevent worldly competition.Keywords:     Force Majeure, Islamic Boarding School Traditions, Covid-19
