Abstract

Media Alef adalah salah satu inovasi media pembelajaran yang dihadirkan oleh Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) sebagai program pembelajaran digital dengan mendukung penggunaan teknologi yang dipakai pada proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses penerapan Media Alef dalam pembelajaran maharatul kalam, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, dan respon para siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif, untuk memperoleh informasi terkait dengan pembelajaran maharah kalam menggunakan platform Alef. Adapun data kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa-siswi MTs Negeri 2 Kotamobagu tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Sedangkan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 65 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) penerapan Media Alef dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khususnya pembelajaran maharatul kalam, yaitu Media Alef menyajikan materi kepada siswa dengan menghadirkan video pembelajaran dalam bentuk animasi dan percakapan yang menarik, (2) faktor pendukung yang ditemukan ialah terdapat lab komputer, proyektor seperti LCD, dan jaringan wifi di madrasah, adapun faktor penghambat ialah jaringan yang kurang lancar, (3) berdasarkan respon siswa, media alef sangat mendukung dan memudahkan siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab khsususnya maharatul kalam, hal ini diperoleh dari pembagian kuesioner kepada siswa bahwa sebanyak 70.8% siswa setuju bahwa media Alef dapat memberikan semangat dalam belajar bahasa Arab, 67.7% siswa memberikan respon setuju bahwa mereka tertarik belajar berbicara bahasa Arab lewat Media Alef, 67.7% siswa memberikan respon setuju bahwa mereka senang belajar berbicara bahasa Arab melalui media Alef, dan 58.5% siswa menyatakan sangat setuju pembelajaran menggunakan Media Alef sangat dibutuhkan dalam belajar bahasa Arab, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the use of learning techniques of I’tiyadiyah method and to find out the effectiveness of the use of learning techniques in I'tiyadiyah method in khat learning in Arabic Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Malang. The research method used by researcher is quantitative method, and the approach used is experimental approach which consists of groups namely experimental group and control group. The results of this study are: 1). The application of I'tiyadiyah method learning techniques is as follows: the researcher explained I'tiyadiyah method first, in which the writing method used a dry pen (ordinary pen) and did not use khandam and ink, and the media used millimeter block books. 2). The use of I'tiyadiyah method learning technique is effective in learning khat in PBA Study Program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. It is known from the results of t-test. It shows that the results of t-count is 12.43 greater than t-table (table significance) which is 5% = 1,980. It indicates that Ha is accepted, or in other words that the use of I'tiyadi Method learning technique is effective in learning khat in Arabic Language Education Study Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Malang.

Abstract

Background: The development of digital technology in learning media has changed the way students interact with subject matter. However, although there have been many studies on the use of media in language learning, there is still a lack of research that specifically evaluates the effectiveness of using Flash Cards in teaching ta’bir yaumi in Arabic. Objectives: This study aims to develop Flash Card-based learning media that is effective in improving students' understanding of ta’bir yaumi. The media was designed not only to be visually appealing, but also to fulfill pedagogical principles relevant to language learning. Method: This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, which aims to produce a certain product while testing its effectiveness. This research has a main focus on the product development process through a series of trials and revisions to produce a product that is ready to be used effectively. In this study, the development model applied is the ADDIE model, which is considered more rational and has simple development stages. This model follows the needs of research and development conducted by researchers. Results and Discussion: At the analysis stage is a stage in analyzing the problems and needs of students. Analyze the problem to find out related problems in the learning process. At the design stage, researchers create storyboards as the first step in media design. Furthermore, at the development stage, researchers began to produce Flash Card learning media. After the media is made, validation is carried out by involving experts. The validation results showed that media experts gave a percentage of 94% (category “very feasible”), material experts 92% (category “very feasible”), and linguists 81% (category “very feasible”). At the implementation stage, the results of the teacher's assessment of this media resulted in a score of 98%, which is included in the “very feasible” category based on the eligibility criteria table. Student responses also showed a score of 98%, which is also included in the “very feasible” category. At the evaluation stage, the t-test produced a t-value of -36.582 with a degree of freedom (df) of 14 and a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000. This very small p-value (p < 0.05) indicates a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. This confirms that the use of Flash Card learning media effectively improves students' understanding of the material provided. Conclusion and Implication: This study shows that Flash Card-based learning media can significantly improve students' understanding of ta’bir yaumi in Arabic language learning. It was also shown to increase learning motivation, and student engagement, as well as the ability to recall vocabulary and colloquial expressions. The findings underscore the importance of developing creative and technology-based learning media to support the language learning process more effectively.

Abstract

Understanding the relationship between psycholinguistics and personality types in the comprehension of the Arabic language can help improve the effectiveness of language learning. This research aims to explore this relationship by focusing on how psycholinguistic factors and personality traits affect Arabic language acquisition and comprehension. Psycholinguistics studies how language is produced, understood, and acquired by individuals, while personality types encompass consistent characteristics that influence behavior and preferences. The research employed a qualitative approach, using a literature review method to gather and critically analyze relevant sources. The analysis aimed to identify correlations between psycholinguistics and personality types in the context of Arabic language learning. In Arabic language comprehension, psycholinguistics and personality type have a significant role. This study shows that individual personality types can affect vocabulary management, syntactic processing and semantic interpretation in Arabic. The results of this study provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the relationship between language and human cognitive processes. In the context of Arabic language learning, it is important for individuals to understand their own personality types, as this will help them find effective learning methods and understand Arabic better.
