Abstract

This research aims to examine the Dick and Carey learning model and its implementation in the world of education, especially in Islamic religious education learning, using library research methodology. Based on the results of this research, the Dick and Carey learning model is very suitable for use in PAI learning in order to help students get optimal learning results. Most students think that PAI is just an entertainment lesson with no specific targets or emphasis, so students take it for granted. Therefore, teachers must be able to make students aware and motivate students about the importance of PAI lessons for us, religion, nation and state. The Dick and Carey learning model is a model that is very suitable for use in education, because it is a model that has clear steps and is focused on learning outcomes. It is systematic, orderly, there is a connection between one and the other so that students feel targeted and cared for, so students will continue to follow the steps and get optimal learning results.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated technology and the lack of supervision from parents of children have a major impact on the formation of student character. Various kinds of social media that are now favored by students and teenagers and the existence of online game games that can divert students to learn are the main obstacles that must be faced by educators in schools. Especially for madrasah heads who have great responsibility for institutions and institutional communities. This study aims to examine the leadership style of the head of the madrasah in shaping the character of students. By using literature research, based on the results of the research is important to have a charismatic Madrasah head in shaping student character, Because with charismatic leaders, students become motivated and inspired to develop their good character. The leadership style of the head of the madrasah varies, namely: Charismatic / Charismatic, Autocratic / Autocratic, Democratic / Democratic, Bureaucratic / Bureaucratic, Transactional, Transformational, and Laissez-Faire / Free Leadership. However, the leadership style that is often used by madrasah leaders in shaping student character is the charismatic leadership style.

Abstract

The author focuses this research on comparing the thoughts of Wahbah Zuhaili and M Quraish Shihab regarding the meaning of jihād in QS al-Taubah [9]: 73. Later in this study the author also reorients the meaning of jihād according to the current context. In this study, researchers used qualitative research that emphasizes library research to produce descriptive data and researchers also used a comparative method that compares the thoughts of Wahbah Zuhaili and M Quraish Shihab regarding the meaning of jihād in QS al-Taubah [9]: 73 with triangulation data collection techniques. The results of this study show that Quraish Shihab and Wahbah Zuhaili interpretations of al-Taubah [9]:73 both confirm that the verse commands the Prophet to be harsh on infidels and hypocrites, even if necessary, allowed to fight them with weapons. But what distinguishes the interpretation of the two is that Quraish Shihab, in interpreting QS al-Taubah [9]:73 gives leeway in his interpretation regarding the form or way of jihad, which is according to the conditions needed and the last option is jihad with weapons. While Wahbah Zuhaili has asserted that QS al-Taubah [9]:73 there is no word to indicate that jihad in that verse is jihad by the sword or by oral and other means.
