Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by Muslim women in establishing catering businesses, primarily due to inadequate marketing strategies. To overcome these obstacles, the research proposes catering business assistance with a focus on utilizing the internet as a platform for product promotion. Incorporating the Marketing 4.0 concept, the study emphasizes the complementary nature of digital-based and traditional marketing to meet consumer demands. The evolution from the AIDA concept to the 4A and 5A models is examined, highlighting attention, attitude, action, and advocacy as essential elements in consumer engagement. The effectiveness of e-commerce is underscored by offering benefits for MSMEs, such as accessing buyers from different regions, cost efficiency, and improved communication. Online media, including platforms like WhatsApp, social media, and email marketing, is discussed for its positive impact on information processing, purchasing decisions, and expanding market networks. The study also emphasizes the need to combine online and offline strategies to enhance digital technology adoption, maintain a personal touch for consumer relationships, and widen business reach. This research emphasizes the importance of digital technology for MSMEs to thrive in the catering industry.

Abstract

Penerapan UU No 33 Tahun 2014 mengenai sertifikasi halal, untuk usaha kuliner, pengurusan Sertifikat Halal berlaku hanya sampai tahun 2024. Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) telah menerbitkan UU UU 33 Tahun 2022 tentang Juknis Pendamping Proses Produk Halal. Oleh karena, pengurusan sertifikasi halal diberikan jangka waktu hingga tahun 2023, maka Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pendampingan sertifikasi halal produk pada UMKM sektor makanan-minuman di Kecamatan Grati, Pasuruan untuk mendukung akselerasi Jaminan Produk Halal pada UMKM.Pengabdian ini berfokus pada usaha sektor makanan minuman binaan LAZISNU (Lembaga Amil Zakat dan Shodaqoh) di Kecamatan Grati, yang terpusat di Sentra UMKM Pujasera di Desa Gratitunon, sebagai bagian dari upaya edukasi dan advokasi bagi pelaku UMKM untuk menyiapkan diri merespon aturan mengenai legalitas Halal Produk, dan memberikan pendampingan untuk self declare. Metode pengumpulan data dengan pembagian kuesioner sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion dan Sosialisasi Prosedur Pengajuan Sertifikasi Halal oleh Tim Pengabdian.  Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian diketahui bahwa (i) pelaku UMKM tidak banyak yang memahami proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal (ii)kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap konsep halal (iii) berdasarkan hasil FGD diketahui pula tidak sedikit UMKM yang sudah mendapatkan sertifikat halal. iv) terdapat beberapa produk potensial sebagai produk khas Kecamatan Grati tetapi masih belum mendapatkan sertifikasi halal. Implementation of Law No. 33 of 2014 regarding halal certification, for culinary businesses, the processing of Halal Certificates is valid only until 2024. The Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) has issued Law No. 33 of 2022 concerning Technical Assistance for Halal Product Processing. Because the processing of halal certification is given a period of up to 2023, the purpose of this activity is to provide assistance with halal product certification to MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Grati District, Pasuruan to support the acceleration of Halal Product Assurance for MSMEs. This service focuses on sector businesses. food and beverage assisted by LAZISNU (Amil Zakat and Shodaqoh Institute) in Grati District, which is centered at the UMKM Pujasera Center in Gratitunon Village, as part of an education and advocacy effort for MSME actors to prepare themselves to respond to regulations regarding the legality of Halal Products, and provide assistance for self-declaration. The data collection method is by distributing questionnaires while the method used is Focus Group Discussion and Socialization of Halal Certification Submission Procedures by the Service Team. The results of community service activities show that (i) not many MSME actors understand the process of applying for halal certification (ii) there is a lack of public understanding of the halal concept (iii) based on the results of the FGD it is also known that not a few MSMEs have received halal certificates. iv) there are several potential products as typical products of Grati District but they have not yet received halal certification.

Abstract

The existence of gadgets for students can have a positive or negative impact. To minimize the negative impact of using gadgets, the service team carries out community service activities aimed at supporting economic development in elementary school students through entrepreneurial learning. Method of Implementation This service is carried out by delivering material related to entrepreneurship. To ensure that elementary school children understand entrepreneurship, groups were formed and asked to express their opinions and be active in discussions. Then, these elementary school students will be given rewards or gifts for those who are active in the discussion process. The results of the community service activities regarding entrepreneurial learning for elementary students were positively responded by teachers and students. With this service activity, elementary school students can increase their insight regarding entrepreneurship and can foster an entrepreneurial spirit at a young age. Moreover, the use of smartphones can be used as a means for entrepreneurship. Keberadaan gadget bagi para siswa dapat memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif. Untuk meminimalisir dampak negative dari penggunaan gadget, tim pengabdian melakukan kegitan pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan ekonomi pada siswa Madrasah melalui pembelajaran wirausaha.  Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan cara penyampaian materi terkait kewirausahaan. Untuk memastikan anak-anak MADRASAH ini memahami terkait kewirausahaan maka dibentuk kelompok dan diminta untuk mengemukakan pendapatnya dan aktif dalam diskusi. Kemudian, siswa Madrasah ini akan diberikan reward atau hadiah bagi yang aktif dalam proses diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian mengenai pembelajaran wirausaha pada siswa Madrasah direspon positif oleh para guru dan siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran wirausaha ini. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini, siswa Madrasah dapat bertambah wawasannya terkait kewirausahaan dan dapat menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha di usia muda. Terlebih, penggunaan smartphone dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai srana untuk berwirausaha.

Abstract

Banking is one of the most important sectors supporting a country"™s economy. In Indonesia, the development of banking has undergone significant changes, as evidenced by the shift from the conventional system to the dual banking and Sharia systems. The large number of commercial banks and bank offices suggests high competition in Indonesia. Consequently, banks must reduce costs and streamline their operational activities to remain competitive. This study aims to analyze the relationship between bank competition and financial stability in Indonesia for both conventional and Islamic banks, using the generalized method of moments. The results show a positive relationship between the level of banking industry competition and banking stability, indicating that an increase in bank competition will result in greater stability. These findings suggest that Islamic banking has the potential to expand its market share by improving its soundness and retaining customer loyalty. In addition, banking authorities should reevaluate their performance and regulations.JEL: G21, G32, L10.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the leading sectors that makes a major contribution to the Indonesian economy, including in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) area, Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java. Throughout 2022, the number of visitors to TNBTS is expected to increase rapidly, which will also lead to an increase in non-tax state income. However, the increase in the number of visitors not only has a positive influence but also has a negative impact, mainly related to environmental concerns. Some of the problems that arise include climate change, socio-cultural degradation, and damage to ecosystems. Sustainable tourism through Green Tourism is an important component for achieving balanced tourism, benefiting both the economy and the environment. Therefore, this research aims to develop a Green-Tourism model in TNBTS. The method used in this research is a mixed-methods approach, employing a SWOT analysis methodology. The research results indicate that local communities and stakeholders can implement a green tourism strategy based on local participation and incorporating local culture, which can increase employment opportunities to absorb labor from rural communities and mitigate the current trend of urbanization.
