Abstract

Introduction Attitude is defined as a person's mental status, after he sees something mentally (from within) which then leads to the behavior he shows to other people or objects. The meaning of attitude also means that individuals must be able to communicate or manifest feelings, thoughts, and ego as high as low as to other people or objects, through words, gestures or actions (behaviors). Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this occurs after people sense certain objects. Sensing occurs through the five human senses, namely the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women in dealing with dysmenorrhea at SMA Negeri 12 Medan 2023. Method This type of research is quantitative using a cross-sectional design with 198 respondents taking samples using simple random sampling. Result The instrument used is a questionnaire. The results show that 76.3% had poor knowledge and 78.3% has a negative attitude. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square statistic chi test found p-value = 0.001. These results indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women in dealing with dysmenorrhea at SMA Negeri 12 Medan. Conclusion It is expected that young women at SMA Negeri 12 Medan will seek more information about knowledge and attitudes in dealing with dysmenorrhea so that they have broader insights and can handle dysmenorrhea well so that young women at SMA Negeri 12 Medan can have a positive attitude in dealing with dysmenorrhea compared to people who who have less knowledge.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is a process and effort of individuals or groups in influencing by conveying information or messages intended to other individuals both verbally and nonverbally so that feedback and interactions occur between the two parties as a process of transferring knowledge from lecturers to students. In this investigation, we'll find out the description of interpersonal communication between students and lecturers at the Nursing Study Program of STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. This type of research is descriptive research design, the sampling in this study used a total sampling technique, their respondent were 91 people. The results of the research showed that the interpersonal communication of third-level Nurses students with the majority of lecturers was in the pretty good category (94.5%). with the existence of interpersonal communication students with lecturers can be maintained or improved for the better.

Abstract

Communication that is consciously planned and purposeful and its activities are focused on client healing and is professional communication that leads to the goal of client healing carried out by nurses or other health workers is called therapeutic communication. The ability of nurses to communicate therapeutically in nursing actions for mental disorders depends on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies of nurses. Such communication limits the client's opportunity to expand the conversation or express the client's own problems. The type of research used is descriptive design. The sampling technique used is total sampling with a total of 139 respondents. The results of the study showed that 113 respondents (81.3%) implemented good nursing communication, while 26 respondents (18.7%) implemented poor therapeutic nursing communication. It is hoped that nurses can improve the implementation of therapeutic communication between nurses and clients with mental disorders, so that therapeutic communication becomes 100% good, to help the healing process of clients with mental disorders.

Abstract

Persepsi pasien berperan penting dalam menilai suatu mutu pelayanan kesehatan karena berdasarkan persepsi yang baik dari pasien terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan yang diterimanya maka akan dapat mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pasien serta menumbuhkan citra yang baik pada pelayanan kesehatan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pasien terhadap layanan keperawatan di Igd rumah sakit santa elisabeth lubuk baja batam tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitik dan teknik pengambilan sampling yaitu acctidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian : persepsi pasien mengenai Assurance (jaminan) di rumah sakit santa Elisabeth lubuk baja berada di dalam kategori kurang baik (78.5%), Tangibles (kenyataan) kategori kurang baik (76.1%). Empathy (empati) kategori kurang baik (71.4%) ,Responsivenes(tanggung jawab) kategori kurang baik sebanyak (76.1%), Reability (keandalan) kategori kurang baik (71.4%), dan Persepsi pasien terhadap layanan keperawatan di igd di rumah sakit santa Elisabeth lubuk baja secara umum berada di dalam kategori baik (61,9%). Penulis berasumsi bahwa kurangnya komunikasi perawat dengan pasien meyebabkan persepsi pasien terhadap layanan atau tindakan keperawatan menjadi kurang baik karena sebagian besar pasien merasa belum sepenuhnya menerima lima elemen tersebut. Bagi pelayan kesehatan agar komunikasi efektif lebih di tingkatkan dalam pelayanan, sehingga meningkatkan nilai dari pelayanan tersebut.

Abstract

Background: One strategy to reduce cardiac arrest deaths is to implement an Early Warning Score System (EWSS). EWSS is a method of early detection of decreased physiological condition of patients with six parameters, namely systolic blood pressure, pulse, breathing, body temperature, oxygen saturation, and awareness level based on the results of the score assessment assessment so that interventions can be carried out in accordance with the results of the study. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the Relationship between Nurse Knowledge and Compliance with the Early Warning Scoring System (EWSS) in the Inpatient Room of Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City in 2022. Method: This study is a correlation study with cross-sectional design. The population in this study was all nurses in the treatment room of Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City, as many as 91 people. Sampling using non probability method with puposive sampling technique. The sample in the study was 73 nurses. The analysis was performed by univariate and bivariate methods using the computerized sistem program. Result: H's knowledge of nurses who are in accordance with the filling of the Early Warning Score System (EWSS) at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam Kota was measured using the Pearson correlation test, and the results of the correlation coefficient (r) between nurse knowledge and compliance with the filling system were obtained The Early Warning Score (EWSS) is 0.919 and an interpretation value with a strong relationship is obtained. The results of the analysis of the two variables have a significance value of P = <0.001. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a meaningful relationship between the relationship between nurse knowledge and EWSS filling compliance in the sense that the better the knowledge the nurse has, the more obedient it will be in filling out the Early Warning Score System (EWSS) at Santa Elisabeth Hospital in Batam City.
