Abstract

This study aims to determine the Management of Archives in the Administration Unit of Bhayangkara TK II Sartika Asih Hospital Bandung. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, while the data collection technique is carried out by observation, interview and literature study. In this study, researchers found problems that occurred in archive management such as (1) Accumulation of letters (2) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure (3) Lack of attention to the storage system (4) Unavailability of archive borrowing cards (5) Lack of maintenance and cleanliness of archives. Based on the problems that occurred above, the researcher tried to provide several suggestions as follows: (1) Minimize the scheduling of incoming mail because it can cause delays in the distribution of letters, (2) Increase the number of cabinets and the separation of the archive room itself, (3) Affirm the 1-door system policy and make SOP for the archive storage system, (4) Apply the procedure for borrowing archives so that archives are not lost, (5) Maintain archives to avoid dust and insects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine family knowledge of patient safety in efforts to prevent the risk of falls in children at Al-Ihsan Regional Hospital. Many factors influence the incidence of patient falls, especially the role of the family in looking after the patient in the inpatient room which is very important in preventing the high risk of patient falls. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of an online questionnaire (Google form) which is distributed in the form of a link to be answered with a total of 30 respondents. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that only 23 parents knew that their child was at risk of falling, while 7 other people said they did not know that the child being cared for was at risk of falling. The advice given to overcome this problem is to communicate between health officials and parents to provide optimal care for children, and solutions to prevent unwanted events by providing health knowledge.

Abstract

This study shows that the main challenges include data input errors, nurses' non- compliance in renewing their STRs, and the lack of an integrated monitoring system. Proposed strategies include increased training for nurses and administrative staff on the importance of complete registration data, implementation of an integrated health management information system, and development of policies that encourage nurses' compliance in regularly renewing STRs. In addition, better coordination between hospitals and related institutions is needed to ensure the accuracy and validity of STR data. By implementing this strategy, it is expected that incomplete STR data can be minimized, improving the effectiveness of nurse management and the quality of health services at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital. This research uses quantitative methods, while data collection is by means of surveys and interviews with HRD at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital. In this study the authors found problems in terms of nurse STRs: (1) Non-compliance of nurses in extending STR (2) Lack of policy updates at the Bandung Muhammadiyah Hospital (3) Administrative staff have difficulty verifying data. Based on the problems that occur above, the researcher tries to provide some suggestions as follows: (1) The hospital must emphasize to nurses to always pay attention to whether the STR is still active or not, if they are still indifferent, give administrative sanctions (2) The hospital must always follow the government regulations of Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health, namely regarding nurses must have a lifetime STR (3) The data provided by nurses for 50% STR is almost close to expiration, as in point 2, the hospital should implement and emphasize to all nurses to have a lifetime STR so as not to hamper administrative staff in verifying nurse data.

Abstract

Human resources, especially nurses, are important assets for hospitals in providing quality health services. This study aims to review the recruitment and development process of nurses and to examine the optimization of HR management at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with an interview method. The results of the study indicate that the nurse recruitment process is carried out through administrative selection, written tests, interviews, and health tests. There are obstacles in (1) getting applicants who meet the qualifications. Nurse development is carried out through orientation programs, training, and seminars, but (2) is still limited in scope and budget. In HR management, problems were found related to (3) uneven workload, (4) less conducive work environment, (4) low employee performance and (5) employee health and welfare. Based on the problems above, the researcher provides the following suggestions: (1) Developing a more innovative and adaptive recruitment strategy to attract quality nurses (2) Improving continuous development and mentorship programs to support nurse career development (3) Optimizing workload management and employee welfare programs to improve retention and quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the effectiveness of the SIHA & SITB application at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bandung, this discussion discusses data input and the difficulty when entering patient data into the SIHA and SITB web such as the server is often down or the internet connection at the hospital is not good enough. The method used for this study, the author uses a case study approach that includes qualitative methods to evaluate the efficiency of data input in SIHA and SITB at the hospital. While the data was obtained through in-depth interviews with system users, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. In this study the author found problems with the SIHA and SITB application systems, namely: (1) The SITB and SITB servers are always down so that users have to wait a long time when uploading patient data (2) Internet connection is not overlooked in this case the internet connection at the Muhammadiyah Hospital is not good enough (3) The tools used to upload patient data such as laptops and computers are very inadequate, the computers and laptops used are very slow. Based on the problems that occur above, the researcher tries to provide several suggestions as follows: (1) SIHA and SITB users must always ask the IT department why the server is always down every day and SIHA and SITB must fix the system so that users no longer have to wait long when uploading patient data (2) The hospital must always maintain the internet connection, especially in this digital era, the hospital should have a better internet connection, such as increasing the internet speed (3) The tools used to upload patient data such as computers or laptops must be replaced or updated to a new version so that the effectiveness of using computers or laptops is no longer slow.

Abstract

In today's digital era, a system must be developed according to the needs and demands of the community, the implementation of digital systems in the field of health services has brought significant transformation in improving the accessibility and efficiency of health services. This study explores the positive impact of implementing digital technologies in health services such as online registration, electronic medical records, and health applications on health services. Quantitative research methods were used by analyzing internal hospital data, such as interviewing health care staff in using digital systems to measure the efficiency of basic health services, to find out the environmental factors on the efficiency of basic health services. The results show that the use of digital technology has enabled patients to access health services more easily, reduced waiting times, and improved care coordination. Although challenges such as data security and technology access gaps still exist, strategic measures in digital infrastructure development and improved digital literacy can overcome these barriers. This research supports the importance of continuing to encourage technological innovation in healthcare to improve the overall quality of life of the community.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how risk management is implemented in Al Ihsan Regional Hospital, identify hazards affecting patient safety in Al Ihsan Regional Hospital, analyze the risk list in Al Ihsan Regional Hospital and find out what efforts are being made, to improve patient safety. Al-Ihsan Regional Hospital. This research is also expected to expand the author's knowledge and experience. This research uses qualitative research methods. Two types of data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. This research collects data through uninvolved observation. If the observer acts only as an independent observer and is not directly involved, the observer is considered not involved. In addition to observation, the author of this study also used literature studies to collect data. The research results show that Al Ihsan Regional Hospital Implementation of risk management by the quality committee to identify, analyze and control various risks that may arise in hospital operations. In addition to the quality committee, the manager's role in motivating staff and all hospital units also has a major impact on the implementation of effective risk management. Improving the safety culture in hospitals to protect patients and improving healthcare services are two important parts of this risk management. This process also includes establishing the hospital's risk profile and developing effective control strategies to minimize incidents that could potentially harm patients. This study highlights the importance of good collaboration and consistent implementation of control strategies to improve patient safety and maintain hospital operational efficiency.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the credential process on the quality of nurses' work at X Bandung General Hospital. The method used is quantitative with observation data collection techniques, and questionnaires. The population and sample used were 55 respondents, namely nursing employees at the X Bandung General Hospital. This study uses data analysis techniques: Validity Test, Reliability Test, and Spearman Rank Correlation Test. The results of the Spearman Rank Correlation Test show that changes in one variable do not have a significant effect on the other variables, however, there is still a positive relationship between the two variables can be seen from the correlation value of 0.168 and the significance of 0.221 meaning that when the value of "Cognitive Process" increases, then, The value of "quality of work" tends to increase as well. The obstacles found are a long enough time span for the collection of administrative files and limited resources at the time of credentialing.

Abstract

To what extent can hospital non-medical personnel be improved by employee education and training? That is the question this research seeks to answer. Interviews with up to two HRD staff members from the ET&D department were conducted to gather data for this qualitative descriptive study. Systematic and planned additional training considerably increases workers' competency and motivation to work, according to the study's findings. Management buy-in and company culture are other factors that could make or break a growth initiative. The hospital administration hopes to use this data to design a better training program for non-medical employees.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dan evaluasi sistem arsip elektronik dalam pengelolaan surat masuk di rumah sakit: tinjauan terhadap efisiensi operasional dan keamanan data/informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Obesrvasi dilakukan pada tanggal 04 Maret-13 Mei 2024 di rumah sakit X di kota Bandung. Kemudian wawancara dilakukan dengan 3 respon yang mana 2 orang pegawai dari unit sekretariat, 1 orang dari unit sistem informasi. Studi pustaka yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh data dari jurnal dan buku ilmiah sebagai bahan acuan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berdampak pada pengaturan dan pengelolaan arsip. Dalam neningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan surat masuk di rumah sakit. Keamanan data dalam sistem arsip elektronik menjadi aspek yang sangat penting duga melindungi informasi dari potensi ancaman internal dan eksternal. Walaupun sistem arsip elektronik di rumah sakit X di kota Bandung memiliki kelebihan dalam kemudahan pengunaan dan keamanan data. Tetapi juga memiliki kekurangan dalam hal membalas surat dan pelacakan disposisi surat.
