Abstract

The success of an organization departs from the ideal performance and quality of human resources. The study aims to see whether motivation and work discipline partially and simultaneously influence the performance of employees at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UNISBA Blitar. This research is classified as quantitative field with the spread of questionnaires to be analogous to existing theories. Data collection through observation, which is followed by questionnaires, and literature studies. Data processing methods with (a) validity tests, (b) reability, (c) classical assumptions (normality, multicollinerity, autocorrelation and heteroskesdasticity), (d) multiple linear regression analysis, (e) correlation coefficient test, (f) determination coefficient test and (g) F test and t test (hypothesis test). From the measurements made produce partially indicating the value of the sig. 0.019<0.05, meaning that motivation (X1) affects employee performance and sig value. From the work discipline of 0.000<0.05, it means that there is a significant influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, the two variables motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) simultaneously influence the performance of employees at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UNISBA Blitar.

Abstract

Gubug Barong Dwijaloka merupakan salah satu galeri sebagai tempat pembuatan kerajinan barongan serta tempat untuk memamerkan hasil karya pembuatan kerajinan barongan dan alat kesenian jaranan lainnya khususnya khas Blitar. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk terhadap kepuasan konsumen pada konsumen kerajinan barongan di Gubug Barong Dwijaloka Tawangsari Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampling Jenuh menjadi teknik sampling yang digunakan. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara menebarkan kuesioner kepada konsumen kerajinan barongan di Gubug Barong Dwijaloka sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas produk berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen dengan taraf signifikan senilai 0,026 ≤ dari 0,05. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan Gubug Barong Dwijaloka terus menjaga kualitas produk melalui pemilihan bahan yang berkualitas, penetapan standard pembuatan dan melakukan kroscek hasil secara periodik untuk menjamin kualitas dan mutu barongan yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Quality public services reflect the level of public satisfaction with the services received. This research is motivated by the importance of the Child Identity Card (KIA) as a mandatory population data for children. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of public services at the Dawuhan Village Office, Kademangan District, Blitar Regency, related to Child Identity Card (KIA) processing services. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was conducted based on the five dimensions of service quality according to Zeithmal, Prasuraman, and Berry (1990): Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The results showed that the Tangible dimension had been optimally fulfilled, this can be seen from the availability of facilities and infrastructure that support the service process. The Reliability dimension showed good results through the accuracy and thoroughness of officers in carrying out procedures. The Responsiveness dimension was also good, including the responsiveness and consistency of service from officers. Similarly, in the Assurance dimension, the public generally felt confident in the services provided by officers. The Empathy dimension indicates that communication with the public has been implemented effectively. Given this situation, public services are already quite good and need to be continuously improved to ensure better, more innovative services that meet community needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of the Islamic leadership approach and Islamic labor ethic on workers' performance within the Salamrejo Village Office, Binangun District, Blitar Regency. The problem formulations proposed include: (1) how does Islamic leadership style influence employee performance, (2) how does the Islamic approach to work influence worker performance, and (3) how do Islamic leadership style and Islamic work ethic influence employee performance simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verification design. Data collection was performed by distributing Likert-scale-based questionnaires to the entire village employee population using a saturated sampling method. Data analysis included validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity tests, and hypothesis testing using the t-test (partial) and F-test (simultaneous) with the help of the SPSS software. The results showed that all research instruments were valid and reliable (Cronbach's Alpha X1 = 0.689; X2 = 0.855; Y = 0.852). The data were normally distributed (Asymp. Sig = 0.057 > 0.05) and free from heteroscedasticity. The t-test showed that Islamic leadership style had a significant positive effect on employee performance (t = 6.010; sig < 0.001), while the Islamic approach to work had a significant negative impact on worker performance (t = -2.859; sig = 0.024). Simultaneously, both independent variables significantly impacted worker performance (F = 20.513; sig = 0.001). Thus, this study concluded that Islamic leadership style is a dominant factor in improving employee performance, while the implementation of Islamic work ethic requires further evaluation to align with work values ​​and contribute optimally to improving performance.
