Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the application of card media in improving the ability to read Hijaiah letters in children aged 4-5 years at Yasmin Jatikramat Bekasi Kindergarten. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection methods were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the application of card media in improving the ability to read Hijaiah letters in children aged 4-5 years at Yasmin Jatikramat Bekasi Kindergarten is running effectively as evidenced by children being more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning and achieving graduate targets, the results of routine evaluations held, as well as achievements achieved by students at Kindergarten Yasmin Jatikramat Bekasi.

Abstract

Reading occupies an important position in the context of life, especially in the era of information and technology as it is today. Reading habits from an early age will enrich children's insight which leads to a higher quality human identity. The earlier a child learns to read, the more he will cultivate the habit and love of reading. Parents as the main pillar in shaping children, have an important role in growing children's interest in reading from an early age. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in fostering children's reading interest and what obstacles parents faced in fostering children's reading interest. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were 10 parents of children aged 5-6 years in Gesik hamlet, Gesikharjo village. The results of this study are the role of parents in growing children's interest in reading is first through parenting, where parenting is influenced by education and parental knowledge about the importance of growing interest in reading from an early age. Second, the role of parents in setting an example for their children. Third, parents have a role in providing literacy-related facilities. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced by parents in cultivating children's reading interest are: 1) Children are more interested in playing mobile games, 2) Children's moods are up and down towards reading activities, 3) Unsupportive environment or friends.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers to instill Islamic religious education values ​​in preventing bullying behavior at SMP Tunas Utama Karawang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation methods and using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers to instill Islamic religious education values ​​in preventing bullying behavior at SMP Tunas Utama Karawang are to innovate in learning, find and overcome obstacles in instilling Islamic Religious Education values, and collaborate with other parties. The process of instilling Islamic religious education values ​​in preventing bullying behavior is by providing habits, role models, discipline, advice and conducting open communication. And the results of instilling Islamic religious education values ​​in preventing bullying behavior are reducing bullying actions, instilling values ​​of faith, worship and morals.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine learning to paint with the ATIK learning model during the pandemic. The research uses the descriptive-analytical method, which describes the reality of the learning that occurs and how the response of the subject under study is. Primary data sources are 17 students from group B2 in Al Azhar Kindergarten. Secondary data sources journal articles and books that are in accordance with the research discussion. The research findings are the ATIK model, namely the results of children's paintings are much clearer, more shaped, and more colorful. Children become happier in painting activities; they do not hesitate to pour their ideas which are poured into paintings.

Abstract

Children's self-confidence needs to be built from an early age because not all children have the confidence to show their abilities. This article aims to describe learning to use school TV to develop the confidence of children aged 5–6 years. The method used in this article is descriptive-analytic, namely by narrating and analyzing the learning process, which is then used as content for school TV. The primary data sources in this article are the students of group B3, which consists of 11 boys and 6 girls. The findings in this study show that school TV learning is carried out through collaboration between teachers and parents, teachers prepare learning content that is broadcast, and parents are involved to motivate students to participate in learning. Activities are carried out as usual in the classroom, from start to finish. The conclusion of this research is that students are very happy and proud to participate in learning that is broadcast on school TV, thus motivating students to be confident, enthusiastic, and creative in participating in learning.
