Abstract

Penerapan Good Corporate Governance, Leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan dalam dunia perbankan keduanya memiliki hubungan yang terkait walaupun tidak tampak secara langsung. Good Corporate Governance menyangkut orang (moralitas), etika kerja, dan prinsip-prinsip kerja yang baik untuk optimalisasi kinerja jangka panjang, leverage keuangan didefinisikan sebagai tingkat sampai sejauhmana sekuritas dengan obligasi digunakan dalam struktur modal suatu perusahaan, sedangkan ukuran perusahaan adalah menggambarkan besar kecilnya perusahaan. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh Good Corporate Governance dengan komposisi komisaris independen, kepemilikan Institusional, ukuran komite audit , Leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap manajemen laba perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI.Kepemilikan institusi, dewan komisaris independen, komite audit, leverage dan ukuran perusahaan dijadikan sebagai variable bebas, sedangkan variable kontrolnya adalah manajemen laba. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2013-2014 terdapat 20 sampel penelitian. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan teknik analisi data regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh variable bebas terhadap variable control. Hasil penelitiannnya menunjukan bahwa secara parsial kepemilikan institusional, dewan komisaris independen, leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba, tetapi ukuran komite audit adan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba. Secara simultan kelima variable tersebut tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the impact of The Boss Baby 2 Animated Film on Children’s Personality and Behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and Sigmund Freud's theory to analyze the impact of watching animated films on various aspects of children's personality and behavior focusing on the Id, Ego, and superego. The researcher found that The Boss Baby 2 is about adult issues framed from the children's perspective and id are too dominant in this animated film so it is recommended children watching this film with adults. The researcher hope, that readers can develop a better understanding of psychoanalysis study through this research and hope can be an additional reference in studying psychoanalysis for further researcher.Keywords: Freud’s theory, id, ego, superego

Abstract

This study explores the representation of traumatic experiences in H.G. Wells' novel The Island of Doctor Moreau. Traumatic experiences are unpredictable, unpreventable situations that overwhelm victims and disrupt their ability to cope. Literature can provide insights into the range of responses to such overwhelming experiences as a reflection of human existence. The objective of this research is to increase awareness and understanding of trauma and mental illness through the analysis of literary depictions. Using a qualitative research approach, the study examines the traumatic experiences encountered by the protagonist, Edward Prendick, in the novel. The analysis categorizes Prendick's traumatic experiences into three main themes: a) being stranded, drifting away, and lost; b) witnessing death and seeing dead bodies; and c) meeting scary creatures, being attacked, and being terrorized. The findings reveal how the novel portrays the psychological and emotional impact of trauma on the protagonist, highlighting the challenges faced by victims of overwhelming and life-threatening situations. By analyzing the literary representation of trauma, this study aims to foster greater empathy and understanding for those affected by traumatic experiences and mental health issues. The in-depth qualitative analysis of the narrative techniques and thematic elements in the novel contributes to the literature on the literary depiction of trauma and its implications for raising awareness and promoting mental health.Keywords: Traumatic experiences, psychology, novel

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari alternatif kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif analitik. Deskriptif analitik merupakan saah satu cara penilaian terhadap suatu data ditampilkan agar informasi yang ditampilkan dapat secara jelas diterima oleh orang lain. Setiap penelitian memiliki beberapa tahapan yang diperlukan harapannya penelitian lebih tertata dan meminimalisir kurangnya data baik dalam bentuk subjektif maupun objektif. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap, antara lain tahapan persiapan, tahapan penelitian lapangan dan tahapan analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dari 25 anak aktif bereksplorasi dengan memanfaatkan benda yang ada di sekitarnya dalam rangka menumbuhkan rasa keingintahuannya tentang sesuatu atau baru diketahuinya, anak-anak mendapatkan pencapaian daya kreativitas terdiri atas: 83.33% memiliki daya keaslian, kelancaran dan elaborasi yaitu memiliki ide-ide baru untuk berkreasi , sesuai dengan pemikiran dan kemauannya sendiri dan Berkreativitas berdasarkan ide dan gagasannya sendiri dan 89.90 % anak dapat memecahkan masalah saat berkreativitas tanpa dibantu oleh guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan eksplorasi dapat meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyse the process of technical assistance in proofreading scientific articles and measure its impact on the quality of writing and chances of publication in accredited journals. Technical assistance consists of six stages: (1) Needs Identification, (2) Training, (3) Individual Mentoring, (4) Use of Assistance Tools, (5) Evaluation and Feedback, and (6) Application of Results & Submit Articles. This research uses mixed methods, with data collection through questionnaires and documentation. The study population was 20 students, all of whom were sampled using a purposive sampling technique. The mentoring process involved 2 experts and 3 proofreaders. The results showed that this service activity produced 20 articles that were eligible for submission, with an initial score of 420 (70.00%) increasing to 478 (79.67%) at 78.33%. The articles have been written according to the template, corrected, translated, checked for plagiarism, and submitted to Sinta accredited national journals, with details: 1 article to S-5 journal, 14 articles to S-4 journal, 1 article to S-3 journal, 2 articles to S-2 journal, and 2 articles to international proceedings. This research shows that technical assistance is effective in improving the quality of scientific articles and publication opportunities in accredited journals. The findings can serve as a reference for educational and research institutions in developing similar programmes to increase the productivity of scientific publications.

Abstract

This study aims to decipher the results of validation tests and find out the user's response to the development of Android-based learning media using the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) application. This study uses mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative). Data collection uses questionnaires and documents. Quantitative analysis techniques were carried out on validation results using numbers, scales, or percentages, while qualitative analysis was carried out on the results of (1) individual trials, (2) small groups and (3) large groups.  The population of this study is 30 grade VII students, while the sample is determined using non-probability sampling which aims to make all populations as samples. The results of the study show that: (1) the results of the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 95% (very feasible) and material experts 94% (very feasible).  (2) the results of user trials on the development of Android-based Arabic learning media products received an average score for individual trials of 80% with categories (good), small group trials of 85% with categories (very good) and large group trials of 95% with categories (very good).

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity aims to help SMEs to understand the concept and practice of product/service quality management. This topic is important because the sustainability and growth of enterprises can be created through strategic quality management activities. There are 22 SMEs in Sadang Serang, Bandung, Indonesia is involved in this activity. Method: The service-learning method was conducted through surveys, training, and evaluations. Results: The results of this activity were measured in four aspects: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. Participants provided positive feedback. This can be seen from the start of the registration until the completion of the activity. Participants also gained enhanced knowledge of the concepts shown in the pre-test and post-test scores. Participant enthusiasm can also be seen in their engagement in discussions and willingness to ask questions. Ten days after the training activity, they were surveyed to determine their behavioral changes. It was found that 50% of participants created standard operating procedures/SOPs after taking training. Limitations: Community service activities are conducted only through training. We were unable to conduct further activities, such as visits, due to time and energy constraints. After the training, only an online survey was used as a follow-up activity. Contributions: Quality management provides SMEs with a competitive advantage. This community service activity is expected to solve community problems and support SMEs in strengthening the business ecosystem around it and boosting Indonesian economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of students' speaking skills with guided conversation strategies. This research uses a pre-experimental method with data analysis using SPSS version 20.0. The respondents in this study consisted of 34 students from class VIII10 at UPT SPF SMP Negeri 17 Makassar. The results of this research show that guided conversation can improve students' speaking ability with an average (Mean) Post-test score of 16.38 with a standard deviation (data spread) from 2.456 to 3.201. This shows that guided conversation strategy can improve students' speaking ability. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test score which increased in the post-test results. The standard deviation value is smaller than the average value, so it can be concluded that the average value can represent all the data. The range of values on the Pre-test is 10 and on the Post-test 13. Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Furthermore, the description above shows that in the post-test results, there was an increase from the pre-test to the post-test. This shows that the application of guided conversation plays an important role in learning to speak.

Abstract

This research examines  the  gender  performativity  displayed  by  the  female  main character in the film "True Spirit" using qualitative methods and Judith Butler's theory. The data collection technique was carried out through taking documentation of pieces of images that showed the existence of gender pervormativity from the movie scene. The data analysis technique used is the Miles & Huberman analysis model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study to find out the self of gender identity in this study can be seen through: performative Appearance  and  physical,  and  performative  environment.  Appearance and physical performative consists of 14 data and performative environment consists of 11 data. In conclusion, the film "True Spirit" by Sarah Spillane shows the existence of gender pervormativity produced through actions and also the role of the social environment displayed by the main character in this film. As a suggestion, this research is expected to be an additional information and reference for other researchers who are interested in researching and also developing gender performativity studies in films. This research provides an overview of how performativity shapes one's self-identity.

Abstract

Angka kematian ibu (AKI) dan angka kematian bayi (AKB) merupakan indikator utama kesehatan masyarakat. Pelayanan antenatal (ANC) yang berkualitas berperan penting dalam mengurangi AKI dan AKB melalui deteksi dini komplikasi kehamilan. Namun, keterbatasan akses ANC di daerah terpencil berdampak negatif pada kesehatan ibu dan anak. Telaah ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas pelayanan ANC terhadap kesehatan ibu dan anak serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi cakupan dan kualitas ANC di Indonesia. Telaah pustaka dilakukan dengan metode narrative review, mengumpulkan artikel dari tahun 2015–2024 melalui Google Scholar. Artikel terpilih membahas kualitas dan dampak ANC terhadap kesehatan ibu dan anak serta memenuhi kriteria full text. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa ANC berkualitas menurunkan AKI dan AKB serta mencegah komplikasi seperti preeklampsia, anemia, dan Berat Badan Lahir Rendah (BBLR). Kunjungan ANC yang teratur memungkinkan deteksi dini risiko kesehatan ibu dan janin. Di daerah terpencil, rendahnya cakupan ANC akibat keterbatasan infrastruktur dan tenaga kesehatan meningkatkan risiko komplikasi yang tidak terdeteksi. Kualitas dan cakupan ANC sangat penting untuk kesehatan ibu dan anak. Peningkatan akses dan kualitas ANC sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi risiko komplikasi kehamilan dan meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak di Indonesia.
