Abstract

Purpose – To gain new knowledge or make discoveries. As proof or testing of the truth of existing knowledge. As a development of knowledge in an existing scientific field. The objectives that researchers wish to express in conducting this research are as follows: 1) find out the effect of work motivation on employee performance. 2) Knowing the influence of work motivation on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance.   Design/methodology/approach – Using a quantitative approach, researchers conducted research at the Regional Public Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Among Tirto, Batu City, located on Jl. Kartini No. 10, Stone.The results of the analysis using SPSS 17.0 tools.   Findings – Work motivation influences employee performance and job satisfaction can mediate the influence of work motivation on employee performance. To improve employee performance, it is necessary to be aware of the obligations given. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Among Tirto, Batu City, to guide employees to be more responsible for the responsibilities given.   Research limitations/implications – To increase work motivation, it is necessary to pay attention to physiological needs, namely providing a decent salary. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Among Tirto, Batu City, to provide decent salaries so that employees feel satisfied so that they can improve employee performance.   Originality/value – To enhance job satisfaction, it is crucial to focus on salary satisfaction, specifically by offering fair salaries. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water, Among Tirto, Batu City, to provide a fair salary so as not to cause feelings of envy with other employees, so that they feel satisfied at work and can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to find out that every company must have its own goals to achieve the progress and success of the company itself. To achieve the desired goals, good and proper management is needed to facilitate a company to achieve success. With effective and efficient management, a company can balance everything for the welfare and common goals. If it has achieved common goals, then it is certain that the company will be successful and run well. Based on these objectives, the researcher uses the literature search method and searches for relevant sources. In obtaining the data and information needed, the researcher conducts a literature study first as a consideration and additional insight and requires reference data as a reference for writing.

Abstract

    Purpose – The purpose of developing a marketing strategy for a financial company is to enhance its competitive advantage within the market. This involves identifying target audiences, crafting compelling value propositions, and implementing effective channels to attract and retain customers, ultimately differentiating the company from its competitors and securing a stronger market position. Design/methodology/approach – This research will employ a mixed-methods approach to develop marketing strategies for financial institutions seeking to enhance competitive advantage. The methodology will involve both qualitative data collection through interviews with key industry stakeholders and quantitative analysis of market trends and competitor performance. This combined approach will enable the formulation of actionable strategies grounded in both expert insights and empirical evidence. Findings – The research indicates that developing a comprehensive marketing strategy is crucial for financial institutions seeking to bolster their competitive advantage. Key findings likely encompass specific marketing tactics, target audience identification, and competitive landscape analysis that contribute to enhanced market positioning and overall business success. Research limitations/implications – This research on developing marketing strategies for financial firms to enhance competitive advantage is limited by its specific focus on a single industry, potentially restricting the generalizability of findings to other sectors. Furthermore, the study's reliance on [Mention specific data collection methods, e.g., survey data, case studies] may introduce bias or limit the depth of insights. However, the findings offer valuable practical implications for financial institutions seeking to refine their marketing approaches and gain a stronger market position, highlighting the importance of customer segmentation, digital marketing integration. Originality/value – Developing marketing strategies for financial companies to enhance competitive advantage requires a focus on originality and value. Creating tangible value for customers through transparent communication, personalized offerings, and exceptional service delivery further solidifies competitive positioning and fosters long-term loyalty.
