Abstract

There are many inconsistencies between positions and officeholders. So that the performance of an organization is felt to be less than optimal. The location of the research carried out by researchers was the Transmigration and Social Workforce Service in Malang Regency. The researcher's aim in choosing this location is related to research activities in the work area of the Transmigration and Social Workforce Service in Malang Regency. The data analysis methods in this research are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the researchers in this research, namely by testing and analyzing job analysis, have a simultaneous influence on performance achievement at the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service, which can be concluded based on the results of data processing in the field and matching the results of data processing. By using SPSS, it was concluded that the job analysis had a simultaneous effect on performance achievement at the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service. Meanwhile, the results of the researcher's research in the discussion also reveal that there is a partial influence of job specifications on performance achievement within the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service. And the final result of this research is that, by assessing the suitability of the research results and discussion, it can be concluded that, from the results of the research that has been carried out, the author recommends that job specifications are more dominant in influencing employee performance increases compared to others. Job specifications are able to improve employee performance and are categorized as improving the performance of the civil service organization so that it is able to achieve program objectives as desired in the environment at the Malang Regency Social and Transmigration Manpower Service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to uncover the challenges and opportunities, especially digitalization in various economic aspects such as in cooperatives. This study aims to analyze whether the implementation of digital cooperatives is in accordance with the principles or concepts of digitalization. This study uses a descriptive approach to understand the situation. Participants in this study involved one of the cooperatives in Malang Regency, which has been engaged in production cooperatives with various types of business and has used digital in the implementation process. The data in this study use primary and secondary data obtained directly through interviews and literature studies. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview and input on how to implement appropriate digital cooperatives as a step in efforts to empower cooperatives in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of innovative business strategies and cooperative performance on the well-being of members. The research uses a quantitative approach, with a sample of 120 female cooperative members in Malang City. The data used in this study is primary data obtained through questionnaires. The analysis tools employed are multiple linear regression, F-test, and T-test. The results show that innovative business strategies implemented by cooperatives, particularly through visionary and responsive leadership, significantly influence the improvement of members' well-being, including increased income, Net-Profit Distribution, and financial access, as well as improvements in health and nutrition. Therefore, it is recommended that women's cooperatives in Malang strengthen innovative leadership, manage finances transparently, innovate in financial services, and introduce health programs to enhance member well-being and support the sustainability of the cooperative.

Abstract

    Purpose – The purpose is to optimize organizational activities to enhance effectiveness within work groups. This involves streamlining processes, improving communication, and fostering collaboration to maximize productivity and achieve shared goals. By strategically aligning resources and implementing best practices, we aim to create a more efficient and impactful work environment. Design/methodology/approach – This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis of organizational activity metrics with qualitative interviews to identify key areas for optimization within work groups. The research focuses on streamlining workflows, enhancing communication channels, and improving resource allocation to demonstrably increase effectiveness and achieve organizational goals. The findings will provide practical recommendations for optimizing group activities. Findings – Optimization of organizational activities is crucial for enhancing workgroup effectiveness. Findings indicate that streamlining workflows, implementing clear communication channels, and fostering collaborative problem-solving lead to significant improvements in productivity and goal attainment. Furthermore, investing in targeted training and empowering team members to take ownership of their roles demonstrably increases efficiency and overall team performance. Research limitations/implications – This research on optimizing organizational activities to enhance workgroup effectiveness is limited by its specific contextual setting, potentially impacting generalizability to diverse organizational structures and cultures. Further research should explore the long-term sustainability of implemented interventions and examine the mediating roles of factors like communication and trust in achieving optimal workgroup performance across different industries and organizational sizes. These findings offer practical implications for managers seeking to improve team performance through targeted organizational adjustments, but should be adapted based on the specific needs of their teams. Originality/value – Optimizing organizational activities is crucial for enhancing effectiveness within workgroups. By streamlining processes, fostering clear communication, and aligning individual tasks with overarching goals, organizations can unlock significant productivity gains. Prioritizing strategic initiatives and eliminating redundancies ultimately leads to a more efficient and impactful work environment, maximizing the collective potential of the team.
