Abstract

The millennial generation is a group of people who are dependent on information and communication technology. Because this time span is the time span when the world began to introduce and develop various modern technologies including information and communication technology to make it easier for humans to achieve goals in every activity of their lives. Mental coaching for the millennial generation is very necessary, so that the millennial generation, especially for new PGSD students in the 2022/2023 academic year, how to get to know the campus world, attitudes and behaviour as students, this can be done through mental coaching. Millennial generation scaffolding needs are a need for mental coaching for new Millennial Generation Teacher Education (PGSD) students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The purpose of this research is to provide mental coaching in the form of scaffolding to the millennial generation, especially to early students who have just enjoyed campus life and do not necessarily have certainty about self-concept and identity. The implementation method is divided into 3 (three) stages: Apperception, Constructing, Mentoring. From this mental coaching method in the form of Scaffolding, the results were obtained: there were 71% of participants who learned to develop Problem Solving Skills, there were 56% whose communication skills improved.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of an exhibition in the Strengthening Project of Pancasila Student Profile (P5) with the theme of local wisdom at SDN 2 Rantepao and SDN 3 Rantepao. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used interactive analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the planning of activities was carried out collaboratively between teachers and the school team, by adjusting the local cultural content of Toraja into the form of works and performances. The implementation of the project exhibition became a means of student expression in displaying the results of cultural exploration through exhibitions and art performances, which reflected P5 values such as cooperation, diversity, and creativity. Overall, the project exhibition proved to be able to strengthen students' character and love for local culture through a contextual and meaningful learning process.

Abstract

Kain tenun Sa’dan merupakan warisan budaya khas Toraja Utara yang memiliki nilai estetika dan simbolik tinggi. Namun, pemanfaatannya dalam pendidikan, khususnya di sekolah dasar, masih terbatas. Permasalahan mitra kegiatan adalah rendahnya pemahaman dan pemanfaatan simbol budaya lokal, khususnya kain tenun Sa’dan, dalam pembelajaran dan pembentukan identitas budaya di sekolah dasar. Mitra kegiatan melibatkan guru-guru dari beberapa Sekolah Dasar di Lembang Sa’dan, Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kapasitas guru dalam mengintegrasikan kain tenun Sa’dan sebagai media edukatif dan simbol kultural dalam pembelajaran serta penguatan karakter siswa. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan partisipatif, lokakarya, dan pendampingan penyusunan rencana pembelajaran berbasis budaya lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap guru mengenai pentingnya pelestarian budaya melalui pendidikan, serta lahirnya rencana aksi nyata, seperti pemanfaatan kain tenun dalam tema pembelajaran, dekorasi kelas, dan kegiatan sekolah. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan kain tenun Sa’dan terbukti efektif sebagai simbol penguatan identitas budaya sekaligus mendorong keterlibatan guru dalam pelestarian nilai-nilai lokal melalui pendidikan di sekolah dasar.
