Abstract

Kemampuan menggambar teknik merupakan kompetensi yang sangat penting bagi para siswa lulusan SMK. Oleh karena itu, para guru SMK diharapkan dapat menguasai kemampuan tersebut. Berdasarkan survei dan wawancara mengenai pembelajaran menggambar teknik di SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon, didapatkan informasi bahwa diperlukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dari para guru dalam penguasaan kompetensi tersebut. Berdasarkan keadaan tersebut, Jurusan Teknik Mesin Untirta melaksanakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan menggambar teknik. Aplikasi yang diajarkan pada pelatihan ini yaitu software komputer berbasis CAD (Computer Aided Design). Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah para guru dan laboran di SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan penguasaan aplikasi berbasis CAD dari para guru berdasarkan evaluasi yang diberikan. The ability to draw technically is a very important competency for vocational school graduate students. Therefore, vocational school teachers are expected to be able to master these skills. Based on surveys and interviews regarding technical drawing learning at SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon, information was obtained that it was necessary to increase the abilities of teachers to master these competencies. Based on these conditions, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Untirta, implemented a community service program through technical drawing training. The application taught in this training is CAD (Computer Aided Design) based computer software. Participants in this activity were teachers and laboratory assistants at SMK YP Fatahillah 1 Cilegon. Activities were carried out for three days. This training activity increases teachers' understanding and mastery of CAD-based applications based on the evaluation carried out.

Abstract

Fabrication is the arrangement of work of all components of the material, whether it is plates, pipes, steel, or other metals, that are then formed and sculpted from semi-finished material until it becomes a commodity that can be mounted into a chain of industrial or construction tools. All materials will be managed, received, stored, distributed, traceable and disposed of in accordance with material handling procedures. There are two reviews for the load on rigging, namely the horizontal load and the vertical load. The process of platform manufacturing starts with the process of marking, cutting, assembling, welding, and finishing. After that, the components will be blasted and painted. Once the manufacture is done, you can go straight to the installation stage. To go through the fabrication process requires calculations to match the values allowed to avoid unwanted things. The biggest load on the rigging load is 269.6 MT, which can determine which crane will lift the load allowed or not. The maximum load that can be lifted by a crane to lift a vent boom is 346.71 MT. For permitted thickness a variety of values according to the material used.
