Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome is a collection of physical, psychological, and emotional symptoms associated with a woman's menstrual cycle and consistently occurs during the luteal stage of the menstrual cycle due to hormonal changes associated with the cycle during ovulation (release of eggs from the ovaries) and menstruation. SMPN 13 Purworejo in grade ix students on December 21, 2021, out of 63 students, 56 had premenstrual syndrome and 7 did not have premenstrual syndrome. Research Objectives This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of premenstrual syndrome in class ix students of SMPN 13 Purworejo. Research Metodology This type of research is correlative, cross sectional approach. The sample is 93 total sampling techniques. Closed questionnaire data collection. Chi-Square test analysis technique. Research time April 2022. Research Results There is a relationship between genetic factors (p value = 0.000), there is no relationship between age factors (p value = 0.441), there is no relationship between nutritional status factors (p value = 0.172).

Abstract

Pregnant women's classes are group learning activities that use the KIA book to discussthe health of pregnant women. Breast care is very important for those in society who wantto support exclusive breastfeeding. To assess the Evaluation of the Pregnant Mothers'Class Program in Improving Breast Care Knowledge in Borowetan Village. The causeand-effect variables are measured or collected simultaneously in the cross-sectionalmethod used in this research. Conducted in July 2024 in Borowetan Village, BanyuuripDistrict, Purworejo Regency, using Total Purposive Sampling with 40 respondents. A Pvalue of 0.000 was obtained, which is less than 0.05, indicating that there is a significantdifference between the pre-test and post-test, or that there is a significant effect. There isa significant correlation between maternal knowledge and the frequency of classes forpregnant women with an increase in the difference in average scores obtained from thepre-test and post-test of 39.60. It is hoped that this will enhance the source of knowledgeand broaden the understanding of pregnant women so that they better comprehend theskills for breast care during pregnancy.

Abstract

During TM III, maternal hemoglobin levels will decrease, anemia occurs whenhemoglobin <11 gr/dL. Anemia in pregnancy reduces the amount of oxygen bound in theblood, causing the uterine muscles to not contract properly, causing postpartumhemorrhage. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, parity,nutritional status, educational status, and employment status with hemoglobin levels inpregnant women in TM III at the Winong Kemiri Health Center. Data collection wascarried out using a cross-sectional method where cause and effect variables weremeasured or collected simultaneously. This study was conducted in July 2024 at theWinong Kemiri Health Center, using the Accidental Sampling method with 20respondents. From the results of the study, a p-value <0.05 was obtained, namely agewith an hb level of 0.004, parity with an hb level of 0.029, nutritional status with an hblevel of 0.019, educational status with an hb level of 0.004, and p-value> 0.05, namelyemployment status with an hb level of 0.375. Conclusion: There is a relationship betweenhemoglobin levels with age, parity, nutritional status, and educational status, and thereis no relationship between hemoglobin levels and employment status. Suggestion:Midwives are expected to pay attention to factors related to pregnant women's Hb levelsso that they can anticipate and carry out further treatment if necessary
