Abstract

Character is an essential and fundamental thing in life. Not only that, the character is also like a living gem that distinguishes humans from animals. This study was conducted with the aim of 1) to determine the role of the imtaq program in shaping the character of students at SDI Ihsan Al-Baity 2) to determine the efforts to shape the character of students at SDI Ihsan Al-Baity 3) to determine the impact of imtaq program activities in shaping the character of students at SDI Ihsan Al-Baity. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentation methods. Based on the data analysis, it can be explained that the Imtaq program's role in shaping students' character at the Islamic elementary school Ihsan Al-Baity has been carried out well. There are several roles of the imtaq program, including 1) increasing faith and devotion to God Almighty; 2) developing religious values; 3) increasing students' awareness to do good and avoid doing bad; 4) developing an attitude of responsibility, discipline, and independence; 5) increasing students' ability to adapt to the environment; 6) increasing spiritual intelligence; 7) developing students' tolerance. Second, efforts to form students' character at SDI Ihsan Al-baity through the imtaq program which is carried out in the morning by reading sholawat nahdatin, reading surah yasin, reading asmaul husna, memorizing prayers, memorizing hadith, practicing adzan, practicing iqomah, practicing prayer and studies by the imtaq instructor. Third, the impact of the image program in forming students' character at SDI Ihsan Al-baity is: students have religious morals, students have a responsible attitude, students begin to behave politely and courteously towards teachers and each other, students begin to obey school rules, often do good deeds, keep their promises and begin to help each other.

Abstract

In the school environment, teaching and learning activities take place. Teaching and learning activities will not run smoothly and the objectives of these activities will not be achieved without learning motivation from students. So it can be concluded that the school environment can influence students' learning motivation. This study aims to determine the significant influence of the school environment on student motivation SMP. The research design used in this study is associative causal (causal), associative causal research is a type of research that aims to determine the relationship of a variable to other variables. Data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaire, and interview techniques. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, and t-test. The results of the calculation of the validity of the instrument using the SPSS product moment formula obtained the r count results in the Extraction column which is for the school environment with the results of item 1 = 0. 372, so also with the learning motivation for item 1 = 0.401, and so on, rtable for N = 3 9 with a significant level of 5% is 0.3 16, then after a comparison is done and it turns out that r count> rtable are all valid. While the reliability test results using Cronbach Alpha (SPSS formula) it is known that the school environment has an alpha of 0, 833. A variable is said to be reliable if it gives a value greater than 0.60. Based on the results of research and data analysis conducted, obtained values for hypothesis testing using SPSS t count = 1,696 with a significance level of 5% (2-tailed) = 0,000 which is tcount (2-tailed) <t table which means that Ha is accepted and Ho refused. T-test, the results obtained that a value of 1.696 is greater than I ttable = 1.689, with a significance value of 0.005 <0.05, which means that the hypothetical is that there is an influence of the school environment on student motivation is accepted.

Abstract

Teacher soft skills are inter-personal and intra-personal skills in a teacher who can develop and maximize their performance in building relationships, teamwork, decision making, initiative, and communication so that these soft skills can shape the spiritual intelligence of students at school. This study aimed to determine the implementation of the teacher's soft skills in shaping students' spiritual intelligence. This study uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is descriptive. Researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation in collecting data. Data is analyzed in several steps; reducing data, presenting data, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the soft skills of Arabic language teachers in shaping the spiritual intelligence of students is carried out in several ways: a) Instilling religious values through integrative learning such as Arabic language subjects are integrated with Civics or civics subjects, b) Building harmonious communication such as communicating in polite, gentle, not harsh and harsh language, c) Establishing cooperation with all school members with the aim of producing output that is pious, noble, intelligent and skilled, d) Establishing cooperation with parents of students such as involving students to practice directly with learning study objects such as the practice of prayer, zakat, pilgrimage, distribution of inheritance, practicing the noble qualities of the companions of the Prophet, and other Islamic figures who have loyalty to Islam, e) Exemplary Approach, f) Strengthening through habituation is like getting used to planting and religious values in oneself and students, so as to maximize the spiritual intelligence of students, the hearts and feelings of students directly.

Abstract

Quality education will create a Source of Power for a reliable and capable human being and Empower competition in the era of globalization. However in fact quality education in Indonesia is very worrying. The causes of low-quality education in Indonesia lie in yet evenly education to all citizens, efficient education, and the educational process. Study this aim for know use of learning models Word Square can influence integrated social sciences learning outcomes class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Suralaga. Types of research This is an experiment with Quasi-Experimental approaches and types of design Group Control pre-test post-est Pair. Study this located at SMP Negeri 1 Suralaga Where the population is all student class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Suralaga school totaling 237 students and samples that is A total of 78 were taken in a way lottery that is class VIII as class control as many as 39 students and class VIII b as class Experiment as many as 39 students. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test carried out There are enhancement results Study after treatment using the visible word square model from an average score of participants educate class pre-test experiment 51.514 and post-test 76.54 with completeness studied 26 students on the KKM value is 71, the remaining 13 are below KKM value meanwhile an average score of participants educate For group pre-test control 41.92 and post-test 74.74 with completeness study 20 students on the KKM value is 71, the remaining 19 are below KKM value. Furthermore, after testing a hypothesis, with the t-test formula, results obtained that is t count is 3.781 and the t table with db 76 at level significance 5% ie t table 1.66522, so the t count is 3,781 big from t table 1.66522, meaning the proposed Ha hypothesis accepted, that is the use of learning models word square influential in a way significant to results study Integrated Social Sciences class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Suralaga.

Abstract

School is a formal educational environment for children. Schools function to shape students into whole individuals. Where teachers in schools play a role in educating, teaching and facilitating their students until learning objectives are achieved. The study aims to determine the role of class teachers in increasing students' interest in learning at MI Nawwarul Uyun NW Serumbung and to determine how to overcome the obstacles of class teachers in increasing the interest in learning of class IV students at MI Nawwarul Uyun NW Serumbung. This type of research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documentation with the research subjects being the principal, teachers, and students. The results of this study indicate that the interest in learning of class IV students at MI Nawwarul Uyun NW Serumbung can be seen from the efforts made by class teachers to increase students' interest in learning. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation, data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data presentation), and concluding (drawing conclusions). Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Role of Class Teachers in Increasing Students' Interest in Learning is categorized as not optimal. The implementation of activities to increase students' interest in learning is: Teachers as Educators, Teachers as Facilitators, Teachers as Leaders, Teachers as Mentors, Teachers as Motivators, Teachers as Evaluators, and Teachers as Assessments. Class Teachers' Obstacles in Increasing Students' Interest in Learning. Teachers also have obstacles, namely: Lack of Facilities, Lack of Parental Support and Participation, and Lack of Student Interest in Learning.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in developing the quality of human resources, and it can also support the achievement of national development. Achieving national development through education requires the empowerment of qualified human resources. This study aims to determine the influence of teacher presence on student learning interest. This type of research uses quantitative research using an expostfacto approach. The sample of this study was 66 students of MTS Raudlatul Wathoni Taman Sari consisting of three classes, namely VII, VIII, and IX with a total population of 66 students. In collecting data, researchers used questionnaires and documents as instruments. The data analysis technique used a descriptive data analysis method carried out with the steps of normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing. After collecting and processing the data, researchers found that the hypothesis test showed r count = 1.284 and r table = 0.224. Thus, the initial hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the alternative hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between teacher presence and student learning interest at MTS Raudlatul Wathoni Taman Sari.
