Abstract

Penguasaan ketrampilan berbicara pada siswa sangat penting  karena dengan siswa terampil dalam berbicara baik melalui dialog antar personal, maupun berbicara di depan khalayak ramai akan menambah kepercayaan diri.Ketrampilan berbicara sangat diperlukan  dalam menghadapi persaingan global . Siswa yang lemah dalam kemampuan berbicara akan  kesulitan dalam menghadapi persaingan global. Penggunaan media audiovisual dalam dunia pendidikan  telah membawa manfaat yang signifikan dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbicara siswa. . Untuk mencapai kualitas pembelajaran yang optimal, penting untuk menggabungkan penggunaan media audio visual dengan strategi pengajaran yang tepat. Secara keseluruhan, artikel ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Artikel ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana penggunaan media audiovisual dalam pembelajaran dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa. Melalui contoh-contoh praktis seperti pidato, membaca puisi, serta bercerita,  siswa dapat melihat dan mempelajari teknik komunikasi yang efektif. Selain itu, media ini membantu siswa memvisualisasikan konsep dan ide yang disajikan sehingga memudahkan pemahaman dan penyajian yang lebih terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan melalui kuesioner angket dan wawancara. Jumlah subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas enam SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 Semarang sebanyak 63 siswa . Dari hasil angket diperoleh lebih dari 50% siswa lebih mudah memahami pembelajaran berbicara dengan menggunakan media audiovisual. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan audiovisual dapat membantu meningkatkan ketrampilan berbicara pada siswa sekolah dasar.Kata kunci : Pembelajaran, Audiovisual, Berbicara

Abstract

Audio-visual media can be an effective and influential learning medium to improve students' speaking and critical thinking skills.  This study aims to measure the validity and effectiveness of audio-visual media through storytelling on speaking and critical thinking skills in grade 6 students. The research was conducted at SDN Kalibanteng Kulon 02 with a total of 56 students consisting of 28 students for the control class and 28 students for the experimental class. The method used is mixed method through a sequential explanatory design. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. Before conducting data analysis, validity and reliability tests were carried out to determine the level of validity and reliability of the instruments used as a measuring tool to collect data. Quantitative data analysis uses hypothesis tests, namely t-test, N-Gain test, t-test ( independent ) through SPSS. Qualitative data analysis uses narrative descriptive from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that learning using audio-visual media in the context of storytelling in the Experiment class showed a significant increase in N Gain in speaking skill indicators (Y1), such as Speaking Fluency (AKB) (0.43), Clarity (AK) (0.34), and Confidence (KD) (0.47), showing that learning with audio-video media contributes greatly to improving students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to determine the level of need for using game-based digital LKPD in improving critical reasoning skills. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique uses descriptive through interview activities and quantitative based on the percentage of questionnaire distribution results via Google Forms. The results of the initial needs analysis of students regarding the need for game-based digital LKPD are (53.5%) of  students strongly agree in using Wordwall media, (46.5%) of students agree with using Wordwall media, (0%) students do not agree in using media Wordwall, (0%) of Students show a high level of disapproval of the use of Wordwall media. However, in thematic learning using Wordwall media, its effectiveness can be seen from the majority of students who strongly agree or agree, reaching 98.2%. This is compared to the minority of students who disagree or strongly disagree, which is only 1.8%. and it was found that 85.3% of students were able to complete the evaluation of KKM questions and 14.7% still needed to receive special guidance from educators. From the results of this analysis, the need for game-based digital LKPD is very effective in learning activities to improve elementary school students' critical reasoning abilities.
