Abstract

AbstractEmotions are needed by individuals to process and communicate their feelings, including students. Emotional maturity is a very important factor in developing motivation to learn because emotions have a significant role in motivating a person. This article aims to find out how emotional maturity affects students' learning motivation and its impact on the learning process. The research method was carried out using a literature study. The stages of the literature study carried out consisted of determining the research topic, literature search, literature selection, literature reading and analysis, literature synthesis and article preparation. This article shows that learning motivation is influenced by internal drives and external factors. Emotional maturity is one of the internal factors for students which is important in building learning motivation.Keyword: emotional maturity, motivation to learn, learnersAbstrakEmosi diperlukan individu untuk memproses dan mengkomunikasikan perasaannya, tidak terkecuali bagi siswa. Kematangan emosi merupakan faktor yang sangat penting dalam mengembangkan motivasi belajar karena emosi memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mendorong diri seseorang. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kematangan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar siswa serta dampaknya dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan studi literature. Tahapan studi literature yang dilakukan terdiri atas penentuan topik penelitian, pencarian literatur, seleksi literatur, pembacaan dan analisis literatur, sintesis literatur dan penyusunan artikel.  Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa Motivasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh dorongan internal dan faktor eksternal. Kematangan emosi menjadi salah satu faktor internal bagi siswa yang penting dalam membangun motivasi belajar.Kata Kunci: Kematangan emosional, Motivasi Belajar, Siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan model storytelling dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dongeng siswa kelas III. Model storytelling dipilih karena dapat merangsang imajinasi dan kreativitas siswa, serta membantu mereka memahami dan menangkap cerita dengan lebih baik.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 46 siswa kelas III yang terdiri dari 3 Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi.  Model storytelling diterapkan dalam setiap siklus penelitian. Guru menggunakan berbagai teknik storytelling, seperti penggunaan suara, gerakan, dan visualisasi, untuk menyampaikan cerita dongeng kepada siswa. Setelah setiap sesi storytelling, siswa diminta untuk melakukan kegiatan menyimak, seperti menjawab pertanyaan tentang cerita, menceritakan kembali cerita dengan kata-kata mereka sendiri, atau menggambar adegan cerita.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model storytelling secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dongeng siswa kelas III. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari perubahan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan siswa dalam memahami cerita, mengingat detail-detail penting, dan mengungkapkan pemahaman mereka secara lisan maupun tertulis.  Penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa model storytelling efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dongeng siswa kelas III. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan model pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, serta membantu guru dalam mengajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyimak dan memahami cerita. Kata kunci:  model storytelling, ketrampilan, menyimak, dongeng

Abstract

The study aims to analyse the types of speech acts used by English Teacher in informal context at SMK Kesehatan Hamzar Maraqitta’limat Pringgabaya. Speech acts are an important aspect in the interaction between teachers and students, especially in creating a comfortable and effective learning environment. A qualitative descriptive approach was used im this study, with observation and recording methods as the main instruments of data collection. The data were analysed based on the theory of speech acts which include locution, illocution, and perlocution, used by English Teacher. The results showed that teacher were more likely to used illocutionary speech acts such as directive acts to instruct, invite, warn, and suggest. The use of  informal speech acts is effective in increasing friendly interaction between Teacher and students. This study aims to determine the types of speech acts used by English Teacher in informal context at SMK Kesehatan Hamzar Maraqitta’limat Pringgabaya.

Abstract

Overcoming reading problems include physical and psychological disorders such as language, oral or written disorders, as well as mild motor problems and emotional disorders. Children with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, face challenges in inclusive schools, requiring special attention in processing information, especially in reading. The reading process plays a key role in understanding issues and expanding students' knowledge. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The descriptive method in qualitative research aims to explain or describe facts, data and research objects systematically, following the natural context of the situation being observed. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by applying the Milles & Huberman analysis model. To ensure data validity, triangulation techniques were used to increase data reliability as well as references from relevant sources. Research results show that learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, affect students across a wide range of academic subjects. Reading skills have an important role in the student learning process, and teaching strategies must be adapted to individual student needs. Children with special needs need holistic support from family, school and technology to overcome their learning difficulties. With a deep understanding of the difficulties in learning to read for children with special needs, effective and sustainable learning strategies can be designed to provide adequate support and improve the quality of inclusive education.
