Abstract

This research aims to increase students' Numeracy Literacy through a reading corner. This research was motivated by the low motivation of students in numeracy literacy at SDN Aimitat. Therefore, one of the first steps taken was to create a "Reading Corner" program, namely providing reading books according to class level to students who were accompanied directly by the teacher to ensure routine reading activities with students run well. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with the research subjects being fourth grade students. Based on the results of the study, data was found that the implementation of a reading corner can increase numeracy literacy in fourth grade students at SDN Aimitat.

Abstract

This research seek to show how social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Maumere help class VII students develop an honest, disciplined, pious, and responsible character. This study employs a qualitative methodology and uses methods including observation, interviews, and documentation to gather data. According to the study's findings, teachers play a significant impact in influencing class VII students' character development, particularly when it comes to social studies instruction. Because teachers not only instruct students in moral principles on a theoretical level, but also set an example for them, their job in forming students' character has been optimally carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teaching assistance in the fourth generation campus teaching program in increasing student learning motivation, especially for seventh grade students in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 3 Maumere. Teaching assistance is one part of the Teaching Campus program of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activities. This activity aims to empower students to help with the learning process in elementary and middle schools in various villages/cities, one of which is at SMP Negeri 3 Maumere which is in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. In this program, students are responsible for assisting the school in the teaching process, assisting with technology adaptation, and assisting with administration. Apart from that, students have a responsibility to improve students' morals and increase students' learning motivation and interest in learning while at school. The results of this research show that the role of teaching assistance plays a very important role in maintaining and growing students' learning motivation, especially in seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Maumere. The results of this program are expected to be able to foster social sensitivity in students to hone their thinking skills. work together with teachers and students across fields of science to solve the problems they face.

Abstract

Mass media, especially television, generally has a significant impact on the attitudes, views, perceptions and feelings of its audience. This is very natural because the programs displayed can make the audience feel moved or impressed, which reflects the psychological influence of television that seems to affect the audience and make them dissolved in the atmosphere displayed. Speech act is an element of pragmatics that involves interaction between speaker, listener, or writer and reader, as well as the topic being discussed. In practice, speech acts are applied in various fields of science. According to Chaer and Agustina (2004: 16), speech act is an individual phenomenon that is psychological in nature, and its continuity is influenced by the speaker's language ability and the meaning of the action expressed in speech. The structure of advertisements generally consists of four components, namely interest, desire, belief, and action. This structure is designed to trigger reactions from the audience. According to Shurter, the purpose of ad structure is to: (1) attract the reader's attention, (2) arouse desire for the product, (3) convince the reader that the product or service is the best choice, and (4) encourage the reader to take action. Illocutionary speech acts, such as those found in the advertisement “Sensation in four new Max delights in the motion of Maxx delights,” attribute the speaker to the truth of the proposition conveyed.
