Abstract

The author provides training and guidance aimed at improving student competence in terms of communication, creative thinking, collaboration and creativity at the 2023 national level Ki Hajar STEM activities. This research uses quantitative research methods with a quasi-experimental type. There are two stages in this research, the preparation stage, namely the preparation stage before the competition and the implementation stage, namely the stage of participating in the Kihajar STEM competition activities. The innovation they created, namely a cellphone device or automatic sprinkler based on solar cells, increased their abilities in terms of creativity and were able to work together in making this cellphone device which was used as a tool to compete in the Kihajar STEM competition. 4C competencies consist of critical thinking competencies, creativity competencies, communication competencies and collaborative competencies.

Abstract

Metro ethernet is an ethernet-based high-capacity data network solution service that provides flexibility, simplicity and quality of service (qos) to business customers of internet service providers (isp) and other licensed service providers (olo). Ethernet has speeds of up to 10 gbps and with distances of tens or even hundreds of kilometers. The method used in writing this journal is to use the literature review method, namely the method used is the result of an analysis of various previously published scientific article information. Utilization of metro ethernet in its benefits, namely managing risk intelligently, in its management functioning and running independently, namely utilization for each operational, functional and administrative. Reliability, in operation metro ethernet will detect and track discovery to report that it is in a connection failure situation in its performance measurement. Flexibility, support for various services and transportation. Cost-efficiency, simple and highly maintainable metro ethernet network scalability, supports speeds up to 10 gbps. This research was made to find out more about the uses of the metro ethernet network and the configuration on metro ethernet.

Abstract

Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) is a protection device used in low- and medium-voltage panels, with air at atmospheric pressure functioning to extinguish arcs generated by switching processes or electrical disturbances. This study aims to analyze ACB components, wiring systems, threshold value calculations, and the electric tripping unit system. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and literature study. The results show that the ACB component testing produced an incoming current value of 2,000 A, with Ir set at 0.4, Lsd at 2, and Tr at 0.5. Based on these values, the ACB threshold limit is 800 A, while the Lsd current reaches 1,600 A. If the current passing through the ACB exceeds 1,600 A, the ACB will automatically trip and disconnect the circuit within 0.5 seconds. The pre-alarm is inactive at 85% because this position is the threshold point, while at 90% the pre-alarm becomes active as the current approaches the tripping threshold. Overall, the electrical tripping system activates automatically during overload or short-circuit conditions to protect the circuit.
