Abstract

The West Java Provincial Government won the first Regional Development Award in 2022. In the implementation of development, this government agency actively utilizes Instagram social media as a medium for development communication. West Java Provincial Government has an Instagram account called @jabarprovgoid with 62.1K followers and 6,839 posts. The focus of this research discusses the utilization of Instagram as a development communication media including strategies, types of content posted, and its impact on community participation in achieving development goals. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research with a content analysis method that uses the unit of analysis of @jabarprovgoid account posts in 2022. Posts were selected based on posts that received the most public attention either from the number of likes or comments from followers. As well as, content that contains messages supporting development. The data obtained is given categorization, then reduced, analyzed, then conclusions are drawn, then presented in the form of tables and descriptions. The results showed that the West Java Provincial Government's use of Instagram as a communication media is to disseminate general information, plans, implementation, and achievements of development programs, increase public participation, promotion of sustainable program innovations, and develop the government's image and reputation. The West Java Provincial Government applies the PCSD strategy to increasing community participation by raising needs, and practical problems in the form of visual message designs that create themes to be discussed by the principles of communication media.

Abstract

Stunting adalah suatu kondisi dimana seorang anak lebih pendek dari usianya atau memiliki tubuh yang lebih kecil dibandingkan anak-anak pada usia yang sama. Dengan mengenali kehadiran stunting dalam hidup kita dan mengambil langkah proaktif menuju perbaikan diri, kita dapat melepaskan diri dari cengkeramannya dan membuka potensi pertumbuhan kita sepenuhnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana komunikasi yang dilakukan Puskesmas Lumbok Seminung dalam melaksanakan pembangunan untuk mengatasi stunting. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah komunikasi pembangunan yang dilakukan Puskesmas Lumbok Seminung melalui edukasi, pemantauan pertumbuhan dan kolaborasi telah memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menurunkan angka stunting di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Kembali Pulang" in collaboration between Suara Kayu and Feby Putri. This research uses the Semiotics method developed by Roland Barthes. Semiotics developed by Roland Barthes is the concept of order of meaning. The first sequence, which Barthes calls denotation, describes the relationship between the signifier and the signified in the sign and the relationship between the sign and its reference in external relations is called connotation. The finding in the lyrics of the song "Kembali Pulang" is that the writer of this song wants to convey that in life, humans must observe their surroundings, where there are still people who want to be a place to lean on when in life they get cursed at, people don't care about them, but there are still people who wants to make himself a place to come home to. The lyrics of the song "Kembali Pulang" have a deep meaning, namely someone who is abroad far from family then gets hurt, disappointment, and sadness. The lyrics of this song want to convey that we are never alone, there are always people who are ready to be our home. However, we are less aware of and appreciate its existence. The songwriter wants to convey that the wounds received from the journey can be healed by returning to a place that makes us safe and peaceful to calm down. Convenience is what a person needs in living life, comfort can be obtained from oneself and others.
