Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to identify the effect of YouTube Kids content on the Ryan's World channel on early childhood attitudes. The research was conducted by distributing 100 questionnaires to parents in the southern Sukabumi area who use YouTube Kids as a spectacle for their children through an online survey. This study uses social cognitive theory, which is a theory that focuses on quality, learning, and direct experience and explains why and knowing how the influence of the content can encourage them to imitate and follow what they see in the media. However, there are a number of factors in the learning process, namely the subject in the introduction of media characters to remember and understand what they see. by using quantitative data analysis methods and analyzed descriptively and measured using a likert scale. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling. The population used in this study means South Sukabumi, which amounts to 303,907 people with samples taken by researchers, namely early childhood children aged 3-5 years who watch YouTube Kids Ryan's World shows. The reliability test used the Cronbach Alpha formula and the data processing technique used SPSS. The results showed that YouTube Kids content on Ryan's World Channel had a significant relationship with early childhood attitudes, which in the guideline for interpretation of the correlation coefficient the effect was included in the "High" category. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh konten YouTube Kids pada channel ryan’s world terhadap sikap anak usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan dengan membagikan 100 kuesioner kepada orang tua di daerah Sukabumi Selatan yang menggunakan Youtube Kids sebagai tontonan bagi anak mereka melalui survey online. Penelitian ini memakai teori social cognitive, yang teori yang merupakan berfokus pada kualitas, belajar, dan pengalaman secara langsung serta menjelaskan mengapa dan mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh konten tersebut bisa mendorong mereka untuk meniru dan mengikuti apa yang mereka lihat di media. Namun terdapat sejumlah faktor dalam proses pembelajaran, yaitu subyek dalam pengenalan karakter bermedia mengingat dan memahami apa yang dilihat. dengan menggunakan metode analisis data kuantitatif serta dianalisis dengan deskriptif dan diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Teknik sampling yang dipergunakan yaitu sampling non probability. Populasi yang dipergunakan di penelitian ini artinya Sukabumi Selatan yang berjumlah 303.907 orang dengan sampel yang diambil oleh peneliti yaitu anak usia dini dengan berukuran usia 3-5 tahun yang menonton tayangan YouTube kids ryan’s world . Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus cronbach alpha serta teknik pengolahan data memakai SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konten YouTube Kids pada Channel Ryan’s World memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap sikap anak usia dini, yang mana pada pedoman interpretasi koefisien korelasi pengaruh tersebut termasuk kedalam kategori “Tinggi”.

Abstract

With the increasing popularity of social media platforms like Instagram, it is crucial to understand the relationship between platform usage and cyberbullying behavior in order to promote a safe online environment for adolescents. This study aims to investigate the impact of using Instagram online media on cyberbullying behavior among teenagers at SMK 18 Jakarta. A quantitative approach is employed, utilizing a correlational method to examine the relationship between at least two factors. The study population consists of all students attending SMKN 18 Jakarta in grades 10, 11, and 12 in 2020, with a total of 210 students. The sample size of 100 students is determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques include questionnaire deployment, field observation, interviews, and literature review. Validity and reliability testing are conducted using the Person Product moment correlation technique, and the data are analyzed using SPSS version 23. The study findings reveal that Instagram usage significantly influences cyberbullying behavior. The coefficient of determination analysis reveals that the Instagram variable explains 53.8% of the variance in cyberbullying behavior, while the remaining 46.2% can be attributed to other factors not examined in this study. This research highlights the need to address cyberbullying on Instagram and promote responsible social media usage among teenagers. Strategies should be developed to increase awareness of the impact of cyberbullying and foster empathy among users. Educational initiatives and support systems can help mitigate the negative effects of cyberbullying and create a safer online environment for adolescents.

Abstract

Religion has a very important role in human life on this earth. Religion functions as a harmonizer of life. In the context of social change, religion directs change for the better. Religious teachings have a great influence in unifying people's perceptions of life. The presence of religion functions as a "social glue", fostering a sense of solidarity, creating peace, social control, bringing society towards safety, changing a person's life into a better life, motivating at work and a set of roles, all of which are in the context of maintaining social stability.
