Abstract

Community empowerment can be defined as a social action in which residents of a community organize themselves to make collective plans and actions to solve social problems or meet social needs according to their abilities and resources. In reality, often this process does not emerge automatically, but grows and develops based on the interaction of the local community with outsiders or social workers either from a charitable or professional perspective. This activity aims to overcome the problems that are being faced by mushroom farmers to increase production yields, overcome problems related to business development which will be overcome by structuring the business management system that has been running. The training program to improve the economy of oyster mushroom farmers in Gampong Asan Kareung, Blang Mangat District, Lhokseumawe City can be held well and run smoothly in accordance with the activity plan that has been prepared even though not all mentoring participants have mastered the material presented. This activity was very well received as evidenced by the liveliness of the participants following the assistance well.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jumlah uang beredar di Indonesia dengan Pendekatan Vector Error Correction Model. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari tahun 2015 – 2022 di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu vector error correction model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka pendek menunjukkan bahwa inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar. Sementara  dalam  Jangka Panjang Inflasi berpengaruh positif  terhadap Jumlah Uang beredar artinya semakin meningkat inflasi maka akan semakin meningkat pula jumlah uang beredar. Selanjutnya dalam jangka pendek menunjukkan bahwa kurs tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah uang beredar. Sementara  dalam   Jangka Panjang kurs berpengaruh positif  terhadap Jumlah Uang beredar artinya semakin meningkat kurs maka akan semakin meningkat pula jumlah uang beredar.

Abstract

The community service program "Waste Utilization for Welfare: Development of Compost Fertilizer and Eco Enzyme from the 4R Principle in Lhokseumawe City" aims to improve community welfare through the use of organic waste. The 4R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Replace) is the foundation of this program, which is to reduce the amount of waste and process waste into useful products such as compost and eco enzymes. The people of Lhokseumawe City are trained to make compost and eco enzyme fertilizers from household waste. Food scraps and foliage are converted into compost, which improves soil quality and increases local agricultural yields. On the other hand, eco enzymes, a liquid produced from the fermentation of organic waste, serve as a natural cleaner and liquid fertilizer that is economical and environmentally friendly. In addition, this activity provides knowledge to the community about the importance of good waste management to reduce the adverse impacts caused by waste. By applying the 4R principle, the community is expected to be able to manage daily waste more efficiently, resulting in products that are useful and have economic value. This training is also expected to encourage residents to make more money from waste treatment. By producing eco enzymes and compost, new business opportunities arise around. Overall, these efforts are not only concentrated on environmental issues, but also on improving the financial well-being of citizens. With effective waste management, it is hoped that the people of Lhokseumawe City will become more independent, environmentally conscious, and prosperous.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the poverty rate in three provinces on the island of Sumatra, namely Aceh, Bengkulu, and Lampung. Against the backdrop of the huge challenges that the three provinces face in terms of infrastructure, employment opportunities, and the quality of public services, this study focuses on the influence of variables such as unemployment, inflation, income inequality, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on the poverty rate. Using the multiple linear regression analysis method, this study evaluates data from the period 1999 to 2023. The results show that the unemployment rate has a significant positive effect on the poverty rate, while inflation and income inequality have a negative impact. HDI also shows a significant effect in reducing the poverty rate. By finding the interaction between these factors, the research is expected to provide recommendations for more inclusive and sustainable development policies to improve people's welfare in the three provinces.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan sektor-sektor unggulan mampu menjadi motor penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi di suatu daerah. Di Provinsi Aceh, Peran sektor basis menjadi sangat penting karena sektor tersebut tidak hanya melayani kebutuhan di regional, tetapi juga menghasilkan output untuk didistribusikan ke luar daerah, sehingga kontribusinya menjadi sangat nyata terhadap pendapatan regional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sektor basis (unggulan) dan bagaimana efek multiplier yang diberikan terhadap perekonomian di Provinsi Aceh dari tahun 2015-2024. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang menggunakan data PDRB Sektoral Provinsi Aceh dan PDB Sektoral Indonesia. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Teknik analisis Location Quotient (LQ) untuk menentukan sektor basis dan Teknik analisis Multplier sektoral dalam upaya melihat dampak pengganda (multiplier) jangka pendek dari sektor basis terhadap pertumbuhan output yang dihasilkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwasanya sektor basis di Provinsi Aceh memberikan efek multiplier terhadap perekonomi regional di provinsi Aceh.
