Abstract

The decline in moral values ​​and the social decline of the current generation, especially at the elementary school level, is one of the problems in the world of education. With the role of citizenship education as a subject in elementary school, it is hoped that it can develop students' moral and social skills. The method used in this research is a literature review collected from various reference sources, both journals and books. From the reference data collected, the data is then analyzed and reduced and then the data is concluded. Through a study of the role of citizenship education, it is hoped that it can provide insight for educators so that they can participate optimally in developing children's moral and social development, so that students' moral problems can be reduced or even very minimal and students' social development can be realized as it should be.

Abstract

This article discusses waste bank management assistance as an effort to realise a Green Village in Cikalong Village, Cikalong Wetan District, West Bandung Regency. The purpose of this activity is to increase community awareness about effective and sustainable waste management, and promote environmentally friendly practices. The methods used include training, socialisation, and direct assistance to the community in waste bank management. The results of this assistance showed an increase in community participation in sorting organic and inorganic waste, as well as a reduction in the volume of waste disposed of in the landfill. In addition, the programme succeeded in empowering the community through economic activities from waste processing. In conclusion, waste bank management assistance plays a significant role in supporting the creation of a clean and sustainable environment in Cikalong Village, as well as encouraging active community participation in protecting the environment.
