Abstract

Prophetic education is a process of transferring knowledge and values ​​which aims to get closer to God and nature while understanding them to build an ideal social community (khaira ummah). The pillar of transcendence is an important milestone for building oneself to strengthen one's faith (tu'minu billah) in Allah SWT. The goal of transcendence is to cleanse oneself from the flow of hedonism and restore human nature to return to God. This research method uses a qualitative method, namely in the form of data described through words, not through numbers. Meanwhile, the technical data analysis used is the literature study method or literature study. Recognition of the existence of a transcendental structure interprets the reality of the existence of pure ideas, the source of which is outside the human self, has far and wide implications for life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan kosakata dalam novel Septihan karya PoppiPertiwi sebagai representasi dinamika bahasa remaja Indonesia di era digital. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan studi literatur terhadap teks novel, ditemukan bahwa penggunaan bahasa dalam novel ini didominasi oleh bentuk-bentuk informal, ekspresi emosional eksplisit, serta kosakata populer yang berkembang melalui media sosial dan interaksi digital. Proses pelesapan fonologis, akronimisasi, dan serapan bahasa asing seperti “baper”, “mager”, “nyebelin”, dan “crush” menunjukkan adanya transformasi bentuk dan makna yang mencerminkan kebutuhan komunikasi yang lebih ringkas dan ekspresif. Selain itu, tuturan reflektif dalam novel memperlihatkan fungsi pragmatik yang tidak hanya komunikatif, tetapi juga edukatif dan afektif. Dengan demikian, novel Septihan menjadi sumber data linguistik yang relevan untuk memahami evolusi bahasa Indonesia dalam konteks komunikasi remaja kontemporer dan media sastra digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the construction of critical discourse against elitism and materialism in the lyrics of Iwan Fals' song "Bento" using Teun A. Van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. The CDA approach considers discourse as a social practice that demonstrates the relationship between ideology and power in society. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with text analysis of micro, macro, and superstructure. The results show that the lyrics of the song "Bento" demonstrate a critique of elitism by depicting the character "Bento" as a symbol of an arrogant, exclusive, and alienated elite class. On the other hand, the lexical choices that emphasize material possession as a means of legitimizing social status and power are translated as materialism. The song "Bento" functions not only as a work of art but also as a tool for social criticism that encourages discussion about resistance to materialism and elitism in society
