Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, ekonomi kreatif telah menjadi pendorong utama pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Pada akhir tahun 2021, kriya mempekerjakan lebih dari 17 juta orang dan menyumbang 7,38 persen dari PDB. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan potensi ekonomi kreatif pada subsektor kriya di indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari beberapa Jurnal dan Buku maupun pendekatan manajerial yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan secara mendalam potensi ekonomi kreatif subsektor kriya di Indonesia beserta berbagai tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi subsektor kriya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri Kriya di Indonesia berbeda dengan negara lain. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya fasilitas, pendidikan, akses dan geografis, bahkan banyak seniman tidak memiliki akses yang mudah ke distributor ataupun penyalur bahan baku. ABSTRAK In recent years, the creative economy has become a key driver of Indonesia's economic growth. By the end of 2021, crafts employed more than 17 million people and contributed 7.38 per cent of GDP. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential development of the creative economy in the craft subsector in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with secondary data obtained from several journals and books as well as a managerial approach that aims to explain in depth the creative economic potential of the craft subsector in Indonesia along with the various challenges and opportunities faced by the craft subsector. The results showed that the Craft industry in Indonesia is different from other countries. This is due to the lack of facilities, education, access and geography, even many artists do not have easy access to distributors or suppliers of raw materials.
