Abstract

Good interpersonal communication is a reflection of an individual's character. This character is formed from character education. Therefore, it is necessary to improve interpersonal communication among individuals. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of classical guidance services using the Kahoot application in forming student character through improving interpersonal communication. This research is quantitative research with a positivistic paradigm. This research uses an experimental method, the experimental method used is a Quasi Experiment with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design Design by providing pre-test and post-test . The population in the study were students of Padang Public High School 1. The sample for this research was class XI F12 students with a total of 33 people. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire with a student interpersonal communication scale. Analysis of this research data used the Wilcoxon test . The results of the research revealed that when carrying out the pre-test, 20 students had poor interpersonal communication and after being given the post-test, 33 students had good interpersonal communication. From the results of the Wilcoxon test, the results obtained were J ℎ ?????<J?????, namely 3.4<170, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there are differences in interpersonal communication before and after being given classical guidance services using the Kahoot application. It can be concluded that classical guidance services using the Kahoot application are effective in improving students' interpersonal communication as a form of character education for students.

Abstract

Counseling is a process of providing assistance to individuals who have problems. The goal is to eradicate and develop individuals who develop optimally so that they can become independent individuals. It takes the figure of a counselor. As a counselor who has quality, a counselor who will be a successful counseling. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Aims to find out how the quality of the counselor as a companion to the counseling process is successful. Data collection uses the results of interviews, observations and literature studies sourced from various literature both from books and research journals. The research subjects were 3 counseling teachers and 3 students at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The technique of taking research subjects using a purposive sampling technique. The results can be concluded that the quality of the counselor is a major factor in the success of counseling. The counselor's qualities include being able to understand himself, having knowledge in his field, having good mental health, being warm, honest, self-sacrificing, patient, sensitive, a good listener, honest, to a trusted counselor. So that in this case the counselee's trust in the counselor is formed. This is what will shape the counseling process into successful counseling.

Abstract

Aggressiveness is a form of problem that must be resolved. As a result of the emergence of this aggressiveness will lead to violence and lead to acts of crime. One of the causal factors is because students have not been able to find their own identity so that it can lead to aggressiveness because they cannot stabilize emotionally and cannot control themselves properly. Therefore the need for alleviation of these problems. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducational groups using a behavioristic approach with role playing in tiktok to reduce aggressiveness in students. The method used is by using analysis of literature review or literature study. The data used in writing this article was obtained from various literature which includes books, seminar papers or research journals. As for the implementation of this research, it was carried out by collecting theoretical studies regarding the discussion of the problem, then complemented by research relevant to the discussion that will be studied then complicated for more complex conclusions. The results obtained were that the psychoeducational group used a behavioristic approach with role playing in tiktok was effective in reducing student aggressiveness

Bullying among adolescents in Indonesia frequently occurs and has shown an increase. Adolescents tend to engage in bullying, partly due to egocentric thinking, which involves difficulty in distinguishing their own perspective from that of others. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the rational emotive behavior therapy approach in a group setting in reducing the egocentrism of bullying perpetrators. This research employs a quantitative experimental approach using a Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The study involves 218 students from SMA Negeri 10 Medan who were identified as bullying perpetrators. The sample consists of 16 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument is a scale measuring the egocentrism of bullying perpetrators. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results indicate that the rational emotive behavior therapy approach is effective in reducing the egocentrism of bullying perpetrators.
