Abstract

In this study, schoolchildren's eating behaviors are examined. The purpose of this study is to determine how habits affect student development and how eating patterns affect bmi in the classroom. This study used a quantitative methodology that relied on questionnaires. Google Forms was used to build the survey. 500 respondents representing the population of the study are kids from grades 1 through 5 at SMK Seksyen 18. The study's findings indicate that students' eating habits and BMI have a substantial impact on them.

Abstract

This study investigates the link between the quality of sleep and the academic performance of secondary students in SMK Seksyen 18 Shah Alam. Using a quantitative research approach, data was gathered through surveys that employed The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to evaluate sleep quality over a one-month period. The research sample consisted of 241 students, selected through purposive sampling. The study's results revealed a significant association between sleep quality and academic performance, underscoring the necessity for interventions aimed at improving students' sleep routines and overall educational outcomes. To sum up, this research underscores the vital role of restful sleep in enhancing the academic success of students and suggests the importance of promoting healthier sleep habits among high school students.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to analyze the physical efficiency and performance of student athletes in the U-17 Asia Football Federation (AFF) matches based on position in the football game. A training approach that still prioritizes physicality in playing is a reason to look at the efficient use of physical capacity in improving the performance of student athletes in competitions. The method used in this research is quantitative analysis with research subjects consisting of 20 football student athletes who are members of the U-17 Indonesian National Football Team. The data collection process uses a GPS tracker and heart rate monitor, then efficiency ratios are calculated including Athlete Load (Player Load/meters), Heart rate/Meters) and student athlete performance efficiency values. Analysis was carried out using the Kruskal-Wallis test and Pearson correlation. The results of this study show firstly, there is no significant difference in the use of physical capacity and the performance of athletes in competitions, secondly, there is a very strong correlation between running distance and athlete load/PlayerLoad (r = 0.8115). Thirdly, athlete running distance has a weak correlation with the Player's Heart Rate (Heart rate/Meter) in improving game performance. The conclusion in this research is that the efficiency of using physical abilities in playing football, especially for the U-17 student national team this year, is influenced by individual playing character, not based on playing position in the match. It can be seen from the research results that the highest physiological and mechanical efficiency in playing comes from 3 different positions. The use of physical abilities must be in harmony with technical execution, tactical understanding and the ability to deal with pressure accompanied by making the right decisions in the match.
