Abstract

This study discusses the assessment of liquefaction by triaxial consolidated undrained (CU) testing. The soil sample employs Rembang silica sand with a grain size distribution that lies within the zone of liquefaction. In the test, Liquefaction develops in sand when the ratio of the change in pore water pressure to its confining stress (Ru) turns approximately 1 and the deviator stress drops to approximately zero. According to the findings, loose to medium-dense sand experience liquefaction when the applied confining stress is low (<100 kPa). In sandy soils, limited liquefaction occurs at confining pressures of 200 − 400 kPa with the range of relative densities around 34.41% − 47.78%. Critical state line develops from Triaxial CU testing to predict the undrained and drained behavior of sand.

Abstract

The research aims to reduce the amount of coal burning waste of fly ash and bottom ash PLTU Rembang as a substitution of cement and sand in the production of quality concrete K-225 and waterproof using Portland Pozzolan cement. The method was experimented in the laboratory by making 50 samples of 15 x 15 x 15 cm3 test objects for 28 days, 60 days, and water absorption tests. The test objecte was made in 5 variations: normal concrete (without substitution) and 20% bottom ash substitution concrete and fly ash mixture 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%. Strong K-225 pressure occurs at the age of 60 days on bottom ash substituted concrete 20% with fly ash 0%, 5% 10% and 15% respectively of 245 kg/cm2, 254,67 kg/cm2, 250,67 kg/cm2, dan 250,67 kg/cm2. Water absorption of concrete at 28 days of ashes substitution was less than 20% and ashes flew below 0% and 5%, 10% 15% resulted in 4.85%, 5.17%, 5.05%, and 5.18%. The results of the research showed that the concrete made meets the K-225 quality and better absorption than normal concrete.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran karangan narasi di kelas V SDN 06 Padang Besi Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran karangan narasi dengan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 06 Padang Besi Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan hasil pembelajaran karangan narasi pada saat pra menulis, saat menulis dan pasca menulis meningkat. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran Think Talk Write dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran menulis karangan narasi siswa pada siswa kelas V SDN 06 Padang Besi Kecamatan Lubuk Kilangan Kota Padang.Kata kunci : Model TTW, Karangan NarasiAbstract The research is motivated by the results of student learning on narrative essay learning in 5th grade SDN 06 Padang Besi Lubuk Kilangan District Padang City was still low. The results of this study illustrate the learning outcomes of narrative writing at the time of writing, while writing and post writing is increased.
