Abstract

Abstract: Anemia in pregnant women is defined as a condition where the hemoglobin level is less than 11 g/dl. The impact of anemia on pregnant women can be mild to severe. Data at Puskesmas Sangkunur still found pregnant women with anemia where in 2020 there were 35% of pregnant women with anemia, in 2021 there were 37% of pregnant women with anemia and in 2022 there were 35% of pregnant women with anemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age and number of children to the incidence of anemia in second trimester pregnant women. The type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at the Sangkunur Health Center. The sample amounted to 30 people. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between age (p value: 0.015) and the number of children (p value: 0.004) to the incidence of anemia. It is recommended that health workers be more active in providing health education related to the factors that cause anemia in pregnant women.Keywords: Anemia, Pregnant Women, Age

Abstract

Abstract: Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the lower part of the uterus that is directly connected to the vagina. Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers in March 2023 by interviewing 15 respondents of women of childbearing age (WUS) showed that there were differences of opinion among respondents regarding their willingness to do the examination. Three respondents expressed interest in taking the VIA examination, while the other five expressed their disinterest because they did not get encouragement or orders from their husbands. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with the interest of wus in the examination of the iva test at the health center. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in the work area of the Sipori-Pori Inpatient Health Center. The research was conducted in July 2023. The population is all married women of childbearing age in the working area of the Tanjungbalai Sipori-pori Inpatient Health Center in 2022 as many as 4,746 people. The sample amounted to 98 people selected using Stratified Random Sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed that there was a relationship between husband's support (p value: 0.009) and distance to health facilities (p value: 0.017) on WUS's interest in conducting VIA tests. It is recommended for Health Workers to further improve the promotion of the VIA program with communication or IEC on a regular and scheduled basis and for mothers to continue to increase their knowledge about VIA examination through print or electronic media and actively participate in health education provided by health workers.Keywords: Husband Support, Health Facilities, IVA Test.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSoutheast Sulawesi stunting at the age of 0-59 months reached 27% which made Southeast Sulawesi ranked 9th highest nationally. Stunting in toddlers needs special attention because it can cause inhibition of physical growth, mental development and health status in children. The results of data collection in Bahari III Village are 86 toddlers and 10 of them are stunted.A The purpose of this study was to determine the age of marriage, knowledge, education its relationship with stunting knowledge in PUS in Bahari III Village, Sampolawa District, South Buton Regency This type of research is cross sectional analytic survey research with a population of 171 and a sample of 119 with random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between age of marriage of 0.004 (<0.05), education of 0.03 (<0.05), and income on knowledge about stunting.. Cross-sectoral cooperation is needed to deal with the problem of stunting and to promote the dissemination of information and motivation related to stunting in all circles of society.
